Billingsley brings the PS total to 10 unless Langi hasn't been confirmed.

Jace Billingsley
5'8 1/8" - 192 lbs - 9" hands - 28 3/4" arms

40- 4.48
20- 2.60
10- 1.56

Bench - 24
Vertical - 35 1/2"
Broad - 09'08"
Shuttle - 4.10
3-cone - 6.88

Originally signed by the Lions as a UDFA in 2016. Spent all of 2016 on the PS. Spent most of 2017 there as well, though played in 2 games.

He returned kicks in college as well as playing WR and RB. He averaged 27 YPR in his Sophmore and Junior seasons.

Found an article that claims he ran a 4.3 at his Pro Day, but I don't have that confirmed..

Another article says that he'd watched tape of Edelman on how to model his game and that Patricia told him this off-season that's what he needed to do more..

Wonder if Patricia recommended Billingsley to BB..

Having 8 and preferably 9 O-Linemen is about having players who have been getting reps and can step in immediately if there is an injury. It's not about whether or not players are healthy.

We have two linemen on the practice squad, and they're certainly the most likely to be added to the roster if another lineman is needed. There is no way one of them is signed to the 53 before Sunday just to be an inactive for the game. So yes, going into game 1 with 7 linemen means they're in relatively good health.

That being said, of course they won't go the entire year with 7 OL.

How long have you been following the Pats? What you just mentioned is exactly what the Pats did with Karras last year prior to the first game.

Funny that you insult someone but you are wrong.
Karras was active week 1.

Forget Edelman, this kid reminds me so much of Danny Woodhead. Small school star, can run the ball and catch. Tons of all purpose yards in college, and is a speedster who is tough to cover.
Shiny Michelle insurance?

The two articles that I read say that he ran a sub 4.4 time.

Billingsley Musters Strong Marks at Nevada Pro Day - Eastern Oregon University

“Billingsley posted a leading mark of 4.39 in the 40-yard dash and completed 25 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.”

The guy is short but very solid. According to a couple of sources, his best sport is wrestling.

Neither of the two signees returns punts.
Edelman and Amendola had never returned punts before getting to the NFL.. Just food for thought.

Amendola had 116 punt returns and Edelman had 6 returns during college.

new T on board . (seems no Langi at the moment)

Miami Dolphins high on rookie OT Eric Smith, who could debut Sunday | The Daily Dolphin

PFF scouting report: Eric Smith, T, Virginia | NFL Draft news and analysis | Pro Football Focus

The good that jumps out are his light feet and powerful punch he can exhibit in pass protection that complement his good size and frame. When you couple that with Smith’s solid movement in space you /can/ make a case for Smith to be one of the intriguing tackle prospects in the 2017 draft class.
