Carolina has to win 4 out 5 to win the series, doesnt seem likely the way the B's are playing, I'm still sticking to they win it in 5.
We're on to Carolina game 3

I still remember when the B's were up 3-0 vs the Flyers...and lost.
I'm staying quiet
SCREW IT
We are winning the cup!
They are playing so well.Loooongggg way to go. They are peaking at the right time but they still have to win 6 more games.

Dominant game for the Bruins, in everything but the hitting. Great job all around.

B's outhit the Canes despite owning the puck for the majority of the game. They dominated in all facets of the game.
Canes always go for the big hit, many of which toe the line of dirty (looking at you Ferland and Doughie) but make no mistake the Bruins are hitting them back pretty hard (especially the 4th line). I'll need to look at the TOI but the 4th line looks like they have the 2nd most ice time out there. They fly around hitting everything in sight, i love it.
I originally said B's in 5 but if this play continues B's are sweeping

Frankly, who cares about hitting? It's sort of like yards in football. You can have as many hits (yards) as you want, but if you don't score, they are pretty meaningless statistics. I get that hits can intimidate the other team, but our last two opponents have been "big hitters," and the Bruins have either matched their hits or skated around them, resulting in 6 wins in a row. They didn't dominate in hitting. Hitting isn't just about pure numbers. It's also about the hits themselves. Just as they didn't dominate in shots by number, but they clearly dominated in shots because of the quality.
But you be you.
