2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

All she wrote. Thank you...

Now this is playoff Bob that we like.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tied up two a piece going back to boston. still alive yes yes yes yes.

I don't know, all props to Bobr as he has been great. but as a kid watching in the Ken Dryden days he was repeatedly an absurd brick 'wall' - almost couldn't be penetrated by any Bruin. Bobr is rock solid, no doubt, but I don't see Bobr as that 'can't be beat' wall like some of those Dryden Canadian-Bruins series of yore.

Number one star Tukka
Number two Bergeron
Not sure for 3, a couple candidates

I would have taken this outcome after game 4 before the series started...

3 to go w home field and have the lopsided win

At the risk of repeating myself...WHO'S THE F'N BOB NOW??!!
This guy...

That's who.
What are the poor Felgerites gonna yuk about now?

He really had a shutout, goal shouldn't have counted.

Comparing any goaltender currently playing to The Octopus is hardly fair, lol.
Best I ever saw, bar none

Great third period as Bruins took control of the period and the game.Tuukka silences critics. PP needs work and Pasta turnovers are unbelievable. All in all, good confidence returning to Boston with momentum.

I know we're on a football forum but playoff hockey is so damn engrossing.

Playoff hockey rocks, there's no playoff in sports that's better but let's be honest..it's the first week of May and the most commented current threads outside of this one are the Kraft tug thread and an off topic chat thread. I feel sorry for the folks that don't understand hockey, they have no idea what they are missing.

Understood. The parallel I was trying to draw (possibly badly) was, after game 3, Bobr may be singularly unable to be beat in a 7 game series. And Dryden is my point of reference for something like that -- where he himself just simply was not going to allow enough goals to lose a 7 game series. I don't believe Bobr has been so good that the Bruins can't score enough goals to win this series (not really even that close either) -- despite that seemingly/possibly being the case after game 3.

Pasta looked like the old Pasta and a mess in this game. Will the real pasta stand up?
