My top guys on that list Zeitler
Brown
Doyle
Murray is a younger Blount Id guess Legarette is back but we will see

LG did better than i honestly expected this past year, so thats on me

but i gotta think he will fall back soon, begin to regress, with white and lewis I'd like to have a big/power back to spell LG and especially in case of injury

so either bring someone in, or get whoever finally tought white how to run and give him bolden!

Honestly forgot all about Brandon Boldin its uncanny how he is such a good special teamer but has brought so little to the offense.
Would love to see Bolden do his best Chris Ivory Jets version impersonation.

How could you possibly rely on Rolondo. He's missed more time than Gronk and it doesn't have to do with injury

He's averaging 13 games a year over the last five - that's about what you get from a veteran linebacker. Even Wagner and Keuchly are sinking

I like Mychal Kendricks (LBer - Eagles) in a trade (5th/6th rounder)

Should the Patriots try to trade for Eagles LB Mychal Kendricks?

I think the Eagles have proven to be happy hunting grounds for Bill recently - another useful reclamation project.

Calais Campbell is not the sort of player that is ever on our radar - he'll get the big bucks and Bill doesn;t often like to 'buy high'.

LG had a chance to make an above average payday on the open market, but he had terrible playoff performances (aside from carrying the whole Steelers defense ten yards) and especially in the SB. He is also going to enter next season on the wrong side of 30. It looks a little bleak for him financially as a result. I think he will garner more interest this year than last still, but it will likely only be teams doing diligence or looking for a player with a championship pedigree.

That said, I hope he stays in NE as a bit of security for if the Pats don't draft anyone. He'll definitely have to be okay with another one-year, incentive laden contact, though. But I can see him walking if another team offers more, despite the fact that he loves it in NE. Money talks, especially to a guy who hasn't earned a great deal in his playing career (relatively speaking) thus far.

Take it however you will but PFF ranked their top 50 free agents, Hightower and was ranked #11 and most surprisingly Harmon was ranked at #17, while Logan Ryan is #26, Sheard at #27 and Bennett #28. Im shocked to see Harmon so high and still surprised to see Sheard in the top #50 let alone ahead of Bennett. These are only UFA

However it shakes out I would want to stay deep at the Malco(l)m position, while not be totally depleted at the Brandon spot. We do have Brandon King at spare safety, but I wouldn't want to rely on him to be our only Brandon. We are also down to one guy with an apostrophe in his name, but he's a good one. Keep if possible.

Oh, and since it's Valentine's Day, for right now keep Valentine.

I'd say my priorities would be:
1) Figure out whether Ted Karras is the son of Alex Karras (sp?) which I will do right now via the Google machine
2) Draft or trade for one more guy with an apostrophe in his name
3) Don't lose any Malco(l)ms without acquiring a compensatory Malco(l)m
4) Lose no more than one Brandon. Unless King is gone and I didn't notice.
5) LaAdrian gives us depth behind LeGarrette at the Faux French Prefix Department, but I'd like to maintain homeostasis there
6) Blount by himself is like Roach without Bruschi. As it turns out we just needed the Bruschi really, and we're probably fine if we can keep Blount. But I would not mind one more name that's synonymous with drugs or alcohol.

Okay fine, I got nothin.

Brown
**Gholston**, Baker, Hankins

Yes

Also on Glenn Gronkowski - can they swap out parts? Would be handy.

Give me Julius Peppers in the Anthony Pleasant role and Eddie Lacy in the Corey Dillon role.

Use tenders, tags and whatever other cap trickery possible to keep Hightower, Butler, Ryan and Branch around, plus at least one of Sheard or Long.

Draft the rest.

Its actually 10 games a year. You appear to be missing that he didn't play all in 2016 due to a suspension and purple drank addiction.

I like Jack Doyle to replace Bennett if he leaves, the Colts will let him walk.

Almost 600 yards and 5 TDs as a 2nd TE last year.

Eddie Lacey, get him down to a manageable weight.

Vets who may pique my interest provided they're interested in a short-term, get me a ring deal:
  • Vincent Jackson (WR)
  • Kenny Britt (WR)
  • Glenn Dorsey (DE)
  • Rolando McClain (LB)

  • Nick Fairley (DT)
  • Akeem Ayers (LB)
  • Paul Worrilow (LB)
  • Darren McFadden (RB)
  • Cecil Shorts (WR)
  • Mychal Rivera (TE)
*Disclaimer, some players on this list will be grossly overpaid and it's only a pique MY interest, bring them in for a discussion list.

  • Kenny Britt (WR) NO
  • Glenn Dorsey (DE) YES. If Long is gone
