See you via trade in 3 more years, Kittle. I'll wait.
Fun exercise: Go look through the team-by-team breakdown in the draft tracker, and look at how many drafts look very solid. I'm blown away by how deep this draft looks.
Don't you dare giving up on Kittle . as long as he's on the board he's ours to take NOW
Curious to see who Seattle takes. So far, I LOVE their draft. Other than McDowell, who comes with serious motivation/character questions, look at this haul:
Ethan Pocic
Shaquill Griffin
Delano Hill (maybe ends up at corner with Seattle?)
Nazair Jones
Amara Darboh
Some of my favorites at each position. Ohhh, and the pick just came in -- Thompson is a legit backup to Earl Thomas. Wow. Very good for them.
I'd love to take Kittle. I just don't see us picking a TE after we just traded for a guy today, and traded for another earlier this year, and still have another 5 or so under future contracts. Just seems like the writing is on the wall.
And yet the Pats looked at this same draft and basically said, "Meh."
Factor in how stacked our team is, and for the Patriots it makes more sense to trade for proven guys with already defined roles. There are a LOT of good players in this year's draft class.
That's a great fit & opportunity for Perine.
