2017 Draft Prospect Thread

I have mentioned Phazahn Odom before, but he is a highly intriguing TE in a class full of them. He's 6'8 245, and looks like the biggest move TE imaginable. Another in a long list of late round flyer types that has a chance to be a player, and someone who could provide some real value.

Matt waldman who is probably the best draft guy out there (imo) does a nice breakdown of the player and some fixable flaws.

Waldman is excellent but only does offensive skill position players unfortunately. Would love a defensive equivalent.

His work is so In-depth, he needs other guys to build his database with him.

I have seen him do defensive guys, but mostly on his longer episodes.

Check his stuff now bc I think hes done a few. I know I've watched some

After the game, I think it's clear that ILB is the biggest possible upgrade spot. Rueben Foster is better in coverage and defending the run sideline to sideline than Van Noy/Roberts/McCellin. We have a chance to make that position go from a liability to a strength with the Jimmy G pick.

Trade up from 12 to 8 or 9 if we need to for Foster. I can't really think of any other spot on the team besides power RB that could be upgraded significantly (A rotation of JAGs across Flowers worked this season at DE and could work again next year I suppose).

This draft is going to make next year's team incredible.

The ilb from ohio state could be someone bb likes if he runs well.

He really doesn't give much up in pass protection, he does a really nice job on jarran reed while playing guard (sophomore year) I generally like what I see so far from eflein.

Elfein is my favourite of the secondary interior lineman group. He can move all over the line, started at multiple positions, and was well graded no matter what the team asked of him.

Would be great value in the third. If Jackson is done or not looked at as part of the team going forward, interior lineman moves up to a moderate priority for us.

This would be interesting.

Where do you rate him?

I think he could dynamite in the right offense, and I really struggle to see the fit with Carolina. I have had fournette pegged at their position in every mock I come up with, since he seems to fit their running style far better.

I don't know if I would ever spend that much draft capital on a running back who weighs 200lbs, but he will definitely add some dynamic play ability to any offense.

With the other top backs having major question marks (fournette ankle, cook shoulder, mixon assault) , it isn't terribly surprising the "clean" player would have a chance to rise.

This is disappointing. Was one of my picks for our 32.

He's doing all drills at his pro day

This has confused me... is he really top ten talent?
My question too. I love McCaffrey. I'm just not certain how high he'll go
