2026 Watch List

This is cool!

Sam Teets has compiled a comprehensive list of "my guy" piks from various draft undits:

Lots of board favorites: Keionte Scott, Treydan Stukes, Keylan Rutledge, Sam Roush, Eli Raridon, Oscar Delp, Mike Washington, Ted Hurst, De'Zhaun Stribling, Jaishawn Barham, Kayden McDonald, Gracen Halton, Skyler Gill-Howard, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Kaleb Elarms-Orr, Michael Taaffe, Jaden Dugger, and many others!
We have to sign the LB from the U of Maine. Local kid, REALLY a hidden gem in Bangor Maine.

If Iheanachor/Miller are gone by pick 31, I am starting to like the idea of trading out of the first. Trade a 1st and 4th for a 2nd and 3rd. You could then target one of:

1. EDGE rusher
2. RG
3. DT

at the top of the second and get extra ammo to pick up a RT in the 3rd (Bell/Burke) along with your pick of TEs at the back end of the 3rd. Our own 2nd rounder could then be used on the position above we didn't draft or a safety, maybe even a luxury WR pick like Bell or Stribling. you could even throw LB in too (Rodriguez, Golday, Trotter, Louis, Hill).

So:

Option 1:

2nd - Bisontis, Pregnon, Rutledge
2nd - DDS, Crawford
3rd - Bell, Burke
3rd - Delp, Roush

Option 2:

2nd - Jacas, Lawrence
2nd - Rutledge, Stukes, Wheatley, Stribling, Chris Bell
3rd - Bell, Burke
3rd - Delp, Roush

If we can't get Iheanachor, I really like the idea of a Rutledge/Burke right side of the OL. Just so mean and nasty.

On the other hand, if we were to trade up in the first for a RT, thus giving up a day two pick, what is the minimum you would want to get out of the first four rounds?

For me it would be RT-EDGE-TE. We must come away with those in my mind. I suppose in this deep TE class, I could be persuaded to sacrifice TE for LB or safety.

Agree with most of the above.

Trade back if there is a partner, but don't give up values. If there is no good trade partner and a 1st round value is available (e
g. McDonald), that is an option.

Otherwise I agree with the above posts.

I don't have great hopes for the dominoes falling in our favor.

Mean and nasty is good. Seems like a great compromise to me. Campbell, AVT, Wilson, Rutledge, and Burke for a couple of years. Wilson is the potential weak link.

I had a Wilson highlight vid from Georgia turn up on my X timeline today. It reminded me why I liked him so much last year. There is so much potential there.

Doesn't explain why he was so tentative last year. There are things that should have translated to OG that just didn't. That nastiness and explosiveness. I have hopes that he'll put it together going back to center, but worried that he may not and that the Pats will be looking for another Center next year.

If we can't get Iheanchor, Miller or Mesidor, and trade down, I's want to see

RT, RG, EDGE

it seems that we might be looking for a trade partner to get a 3rd by moving down, perhaps giving back a 4th.

There are many choices that seem worth a 35-40 but not a 31.

I could not finish the Barth/Lazar "my guys" podcast. Those guys should stay out of the draft.

Lazar's favorite prospect in the draft, bar nome, is Chris Brazzell.

He must be a part of the "SHINY" fan club.

As far as I can tell, current Pats WRs and Tennessee WRs are the only one PF2 doesn't like.
