2016 Patriots' Pre-Draft Contacts.

Official binkie of mine. I actually played with him, and against him here in Sweden. He kicked my ass like no one I've ever met. I was DT, he played OL. Hi pushed me 10 yards before pancakeing me. And not because I could stay up against him without being pancaked for so long. But because he decided that I'd been pushed long enough after 10 yards and that it was time for a pancake. Sure, I wasn't that good that year. But he was also so much better than the Swedish level.

Excellent story - I believe you've mentioned this before. Let's hope we sign him, so that your pancake becomes the stuff of legend hereabouts

Video of Hedelin. It's high school only but I just wanted to feed @Marinlik 's nightmares

I'll say this though, dude is athletic (assuming it's the same guy).

He was a freaking nightmare on kick off team. He was the biggest guy, and also one of the fastest guys. I was one the sideline and saw how a new guy on my team was in the second line of kick off return, as the wall(or what wall you can have now), and he just stood there as Hedelin was coming full speed, because he waited for the return guy to yell "go go go". Hedelin just ran right over him. It was scary to watch

Interesting high upside name.

I'm still in denial about Jones. He's so prototypical, but I wish he were bigger. Still, good scheme fit and pretty good player.

He better suits the nickel, but, like Ryan, I think he can play both inside and out. I quite like the late day 2/day 3 corners more than I do those that could go earlier on day 2. K. Russell, K. Reed, Davis, Bradberry, Ryan Smith are all much better value than X Howard or Burns or Fuller. I'd rather wait until round 3 or 4 (if we get one), than take one at 60/61.

Have we ruled out a trade for Jason McCourty? They looked into it last year supposedly.

Draft tidbit to take u into the weekend: Bill Belichick worked out #Maryland CB/FS Sean Davis today, then watched film with him after

I know he's been talked about a lot here. Seems like a great fit, a better Logan Ryan athletically (bigger, faster straight line, more explosive BJ/VJ).

Yay!

One of the more underrated draft prospects.

interesting that BB has had contact with both Davis and Cyrus Jones. Both are two of the best 'fits' athletically for the Pats. Have to think one or the other seems likely.

This is @Marinlik 's dude. Always interested when Dante meets with someone.

Dante Scarnecchia was back out on the scouting trail Thursday.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle and National Football Post, the New England Patriots offensive line coach met with Purdue Boilermakers blocker David Hedelin.

A source told Wilson that a private workout is scheduled for next week.
