Uncle Dugg a top 10 player in the league? I thought comedy night was on Thursday’s?
He was referring to at the S position, which I still disagree with. He's only shown he can be effective when he's covering little ground while there are two safeties deep like when they had McCourty and Phillips. His effectiveness has diminished as his snap count went up from 66% in 2022 to 97% in 2023. He shouldn't have been paid.
No ****. Still burns me that we could've had either Winfield or Diggs with that pick.
Winfield should've been the pick if going S. We had threads discussing this the day of the draft.

Yep, such as Kelvin Banks or Josh Simmons (or Will Campbell if his arm length averages at least 33-1/4").
I don't like the idea of moving back for a LT if the idea behind it is that we're acknowledging that the players at that position aren't up to par with guys at other positions we could take at #4. I think that mindset would be the most crippling thing they can do this offseason.

We have two foundational, building block type of players in Maye/Gonzo. That's it. We are so, so, so, SO far away from really needing to worry about specific positions. I understand LT is important, but above all else we need foundational type players. Moving back to target a specific position instead of the guy you think has the best shot to be a foundational player would be awful, IMO.

If they truly believe there's a foundational type of LT then awesome. In an ideal world, that's the spot I'd want to draft there. Trade back and get him? EVEN BETTER!!! But based on the projections for the guys in this draft, that seems like a huge reach and trying to force it.

Saw this in patriots Reddit page.

Polk - 133/133
D Jacobs - 81 out of 81
Dugger - 96 out of 98 ( ouch)
Robinson - 74 out of 77
Brown - 39 out of 40

Surprise Lowe is much much superior considering he played next to Jordan who was a bigger turnstile.

Dugger what a regression. Looks like coaching is a big part to blame and peters should probably be escorted out .

With this Oline ranking , Maye should be MVP of the season , no QB is close. And I think Vrabes realized that. No wonder he was hell-bent on joining pats in second stint. Gear up folks . Just 2 above average offensive line playmakers and 1 stud wide receiver , we should be flying high up.

Tavai, Jonathan Jones, Godchaux and dugger are all having pathetic ranks.

Peppers, gonzo, white, Pettus , Marcus Jones bringing in some respectability along with Maye, Henry, hooper and to smaller extent pop.
And to think our “de facto” GM had stated, “he is confident in the team’s offensive line”, while the lowest rated receiver in the league claimed, “I believe I have the best hands in the league “

Not sure ranking 69th out of 81 makes Lowe "much, much superior". He still supremely sucks as an OT.
