2 Part Question: What, if anything, could Kraft have done?

You are half right. Kraft was wise to hire BB. That he was available was Leon Hes' bad luck to die and the Jets's bad luck to be sold to an idiot like Woody johnson.[/QUOTE]
He was not "available". He was under contract still and then Parcells stepped down making him automatically the Jets coach. It cost us a 1st, which after 2 games into his second season didn't look like to shrewd a move by Kraft. I don't know if he didn't want to work for Johnson or not, but I do remember the theory was he didn't want to be under Parcells thumb anymore.

Kraft gave him full orginizational reign, which was brilliant. No GM to muddle affairs with the Bledsoe situation.

Kraft could hire lab techs from local universities on game days in northern climates and run the same trials in the parking lots at each stadium. He could then publish those findings and challenge the nfl to refute. Of course this could be done on the home field during actual games.

I believe that Kraft should sue the league and call for the resignation of Roger goodell

Just a thought.

Since we all know the NFL will never turn over those PSI readings. If Brady were to SUE the NFL for defamation (Im praying he does) I wonder if he'd be able to subpoena the readings for part of his case?
So much good can come out Brady suing the league. Im praying he does sometime after the season.

The biggest possible slap in the face to Goodell and the other 31 NFL owners would be Brady suing them for 100 million plus, winning, and then signing a veterans minimum contract. Then use that 15 million a year to sign a player like Calvin Johnson, and go on a campaign to put up like 60 points on every team for the remainder of his career.

How awesome would that be!

**** Goodell!

Unfortunately their process is a little deceptive in that they plan to take the footballs marked for testing into the locker room and allow them to re-acclimate to their original inflated temperature which would not show to what pressure they had depressurized (deflated) in the cold weather, rather they would only show whether any air had been released.
