This is probably the 2nd thread I've made in 2 months. Stop telling me what to do, busybody.
This is your second thread this week and both sucked. Honestly nobody really takes your troll-like ideas seriously. If you are serious, you know nothing about the draft or football in general.
Trading down is a "troll like idea"? BB has traded down in many, many drafts. Guess he doesn't know anything about football. He should defer to your judgement. Idiot.
BB also said the value of the draft, in general, is in the 3rd round. Doh! Guess he doesn't know anything about football. Help him out you goddamn blowhard douchebag.
How many did Tedy have in his first two years? Answer 0. He didn't make his first pick till his 3rd year and didn't force his first fumble till 2001, a full 5 years into his career. Probably should have gave up on him too.
I don't understand why you think McClain is better than Mayo. He's never even played a down in the NFL. Jerod Mayo is still fairly new as well and is a good player I think.Bruschi was a third maybe fourth round pick, who sat for about three years. If you want an apples to apples comparison compare Mayo's numbers to Willis of San Fran's numbers.
Both came from the SEC. Both played MLB in the SEC. Both went to 3-4 teams after beiong picked high in the first round and started their first two years.
Come on guys, this is not even close. Mayo makes next to no big plays and Willis changes opponents game plans.
While Mayo has percieved value left let's unload him and draft a guy (McClain) that everybody is calling the best MLB since Willis. A guy with three years of experience in OUR defense, that is one more than Mayo! Hello? Hello?

I don't think you can call McClain a better playmaker with 0 plays in the NFL. Plus, McClain is no better out of college then Mayo was in my eyes. McClain to the Pats isn't happening anyway most likley, especially for Mayo.I think McClain projects better in our defense than Mayo. The reason I want McClain is because McClain is a playmaker and Mayo is not!
For all Mayo's athletism, either his instincts are poor or he is over thinking the position. He does not make hardly any big plays.

My brother, much like the neutered dog, you just don't get it.
In BB speak. Mayo is what he is. The film says Mayo is a servicable LB that can;t make plays and struggles to stakc and shed.
Howver McClain is alrady more than Mayo EVER was in college and projects to a much higher ceiling than Mayo can ever hope to find let alone achieve.
I hope this cleared it up a bit for you.

You're completely insane, Ochmed. I know you're not a Mayo fan but this is practically a vendetta.
So Mayo learnt a notoriously complicated defense in his first season, then suffered a MCL injury in his second year that restricted him upon his return. And you're complaining that he's not roaming the backfield like the second coming of Ray Lewis?
Barmy, absolutely barmy.
Given that they play two different positions in our defense, I see no reason why we can't have both. McClain at Mike, Mayo at Will. Suits each of their talents perfectly, although neither can cover especially well.
