Four weeks from now mediots will be complaining that Belichick is running up the score and making other teams sad
Twelve weeks from now analysts will be charting Brady's historical 2015 dominance and already shining the MVP trophy
Eighteen weeks from now, Don Shula will wheelchair out from behind his rock and toss bitter barbs in the direction of the undefeated Patriots
Twenty Two weeks from now, Bob Kraft, Bill Belichick, and Tom Brady will be celebrating on the Super Champions podium and the terminated Roger Goodell will be just a bad memory.

Not with this crop of cornerbacks.

Easy now. We're all happy right now but the Pats have some holes on their team in the secondary, running back and O-line depth.

They should win the Division and probably get a first round bye. After that, anything can happen.

I don't care what record the Patriots have as long as Goodell has to hand over the Lombardi @ SB50 to Kraft.

I don't think people understand what a perfect storm 2007 was. Threads like this actually discredit the 07 team. It was lightning striking the same house 5 times in a row. Being a great team and being highly motivated just isn't enough.

Like BB I have only one goal for the Pats--win a very challenging game (perhaps the toughest of the season) on opening night.

Given all that has transpired, this would be a second very persuasive victory in one week. Then we have 10 days until the next challenge--10 days to absorb the wins and get a bit of rest.

Not many people remember this, but the Pats' FU tour had more to do with Belichick being piiiissssssed towards the League. This time, I'm not sure if Belichick has as much of an axe to grind as he did in Spygate. Though that may change once the Pats play against the Colts in Game 5....then it really gets personal

are we a little bit too excited ?

There is no such thing as a "jinx" or "karma" or any other such nonsense. We spent the last 7 or so months arguing scientific facts and now all of you spout this ridiculous unscientific nonsense.

Good thread OP. I would love nothing more than to go 19-0.
