15 Jets now on Covid reserve list

The league may cancel this game since both the Jets and Jags are out of the playoffs.
Were that to happen, would players get paid? I think so. Only if not vaxed or something do they get hosed.

No they do not get paid. Hence why the league may consider it. Saves the teams money.

highly doubtful - that means no game checks

That is the reason why they would do it. It makes the owners more money. If that is the deciding factor to cancel, it is likely to get canceled.

Fecking Jete let us down last week. Nothing to stop the evil Phins except for the Pats in week 18...

The NFLPA would never agree to this...

If it is just one game, the NFLPA might not fight it. They fought it last week because the league wanted to cancel several games that 18% of the league wouldn't have gotten paid.

The virus knows no boundaries. It will infect even scummy JETES.

That would seem to be a reason to play it with practice squad guys and street free agents signed the day before. Since the outcome dosn't matter one bit.

Or the league could make them play it first weekend of the playoffs since it has major implications for the draft.... Not likely to happen... It would be their playoffs...

I bet all 53 and the practice squad are hoping to spend it with their familes. Lets just give them the rest of the year off regardless whether they have it or not. No one deserves that kind of misery just because they were drafted into that cesspool. Just give the other franchises the w’s and call it another losing season.

The Jets have added 15 to the COVID-19 reserve list. Beyond coach Robert Saleh, the Jets won’t have (until cleared to return) cornerback Michael Carter II, receiver Elijah Moore, offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker, defensive lineman Foley Fatukasi, defensive end John Franklin-Myers, cornerback Justin Hardee, linebacker Hamsah Nasirildeen, safety Sharrod Neasman, receiver Jeff Smith, linebacker Blake Cashman, linebacker Noah Dawkins, cornerback Lamar Jackson, cornerback Tanzel Smart, and receiver Vyncint Smith.
Doesn't matter, even if the jest had everybody they're still the jest and would lose cause they suck

NJFL won't pass up the ticket money, the only outcome that matters is the owners make more money.

The Bengals just exposed their patently unfair advantage when it comes to Covid.

Green Bay's lack of nightlife didn't stop Rodgers. . . .

Interesting comment. Taken at face value, da Jete let a symptomatic person infect their team?

My condolences to COVID on contracting the JEST.
My whole family has had Covid for the last few days. My Wife and I both feel awful. I read this aloud to her, and we laughed together over this comment for some time. Thanks. We needed that!
