Looks like he still is what he was...

N'Keal Harry had four drops and two impressive catches in an erratic performance on Wednesday during New England Patriots training camp.

Looked like a stud on the TD and a dud on the drop along the sidelines.
Are you quoting yourself? What’s with the italics?

If anyone's trying to claim the receivers played well today, or even acceptably, I think we watched different games.

The receivers were bad today. I don't think that means they suck, just means we're dealing with injuries at the position and they need to do better next week, and TE is still a black hole on the depth chart. Luckily we came out with the win anyway.

Actually LaCosse and Watson’s blocking was superb today. Watch the game again and I think you’ll be impressed. I agree about the TEs regarding receiving today.

I quoted a camp report, OK? You italicized the whole post in your quote.

Edited by me to remove most of the question marks lol.

I will say 1 play caught me eye I believe on the bolden reverse run (I may have the wrong play) In which Lacosse showed good situational awareness to turn around and pick up a block which sprung him for a first down.

So we're comparing rookies to one of the best receivers in the league now?
...and are not on the team. And will never be.

Jerry Rice would have helped too, But.....

That was a good play by LaCosse but the way the refs were calling penalties I thought for a second he was gonna get flagged for a blind side hit. The officials sucked.

Excellent win.

I am Officially sold on this defense.

Has anyone else noticed the crappy play calling on O on 2nd downs?

It seems 1st down they gain 3-4-5 yards, decide to run on 2nd down and get stuffed and lose yards and then they are stuck in 3rd and longs.

And one knows that because you used past tense? I know that it appears that there are a lot of mind readers on the board but don’t be fooled, they just know everything.

I agree... though I wonder if an argument could legitimately be made that 2001 was actually about Brady... how he came to be, tuck rule, SB winning drive. Interesting to think about at least.

Emotionally, yes. Football-wise no. That defense made almost every clutch/crucial play down the stretch. A real Brunswick stew that one was. Phifer, Cox, Vrabel, rookie Seymour, O-T-I-S......They had guys stitched in from all over and they whipped into a great dynamic.

Brady truly was the game manager that year. Bledsoe and his back foot throws were ruining the team. I fully appreciate what Drew had done for several years earlier , but the Pats needed a QB who simply “didn’t screw up”.

It’s like clockwork after the Patriots win. Fans crying in the comment section over the refs.

I hear ya, Keyser, but it would not be inaccurate to note it happens the very same way in 31 other cities.

Usually a link to whatever you’re quoting is included. It helps the reader understand the source. There’s a big difference between Mike Reiss/Jeff Howe and Incarcerated Bob.

It was a question. I was curious about the available options on our last play. I didn’t deserve the opprobrium on that inquiry. ************. Can’t a guy ask a question here?
It was a brain dead, stupid question that proves you know nothing about football. You deserve every bit of opprobrium you got for it (and more) because your whole trolling shtick has been what a Big Football Brain you are who knows so much more than the coaching and front office staff.

So when you expose yourself as a football idiot the irony is glorious. And hilarious.

Yup and there were several others where Brady had him in motion towards the middle on some Michel runs. I thought his blocking was excellent and a big reason (along with Wynn) for the improved run game.

Yes you can ask a question here. But don’t get mad when you get blasted for asking dumb questions.
Especially after zillions of “I know better than the coaches and front office” posts.

Sounds more like crappy execution than play calling.

The "tripping" penalty is the story nationally. Pats didnt win. The refs did. More fun for the talking heads.

Yeah Im seeing that too. But I raise them the JC Jackson “breathing in the vicinity of a receiver” penalty in response.

Or the RTP call on Wise that also happened almost identically on Brady on a third down.
