Bye Bye John Clayton

Clayton was once voted least likely to lift a sandwich and feed himself.

Clayton is a medical miracle. He has exactly one muscle fiber per limb.

Clayton was abandoned by his parents as a child and was raised in the wild by a pack of shrews.

Clayton is scientific proof that man evolved from either a sparrow or a stick.

Clayton often confused being called a Pro Fesser with Professor.

Good riddance.
A group of shrews is called a whisker, not a pack.

End of an era

Too bad. I like Clayton. He was great with Sean Salisbury on their NFL debate show that foreshadowed Stephen A and Skip Bayless. He used to call Salisbury "Mr. Backup" and Salisbury would call Clayton "Mr. Peabody." Clayton has more GMs in his rolodex than Volin. He'll reappear elsewhere as a correspondent.

He is on Radio a lot. The Seattle sports radio has him on anyway. He's also been on the NFL XM radio station. I hear him almost every day on my drive to work. He usually just talks Seahawks in that segment, but it's interesting. He had a lot of opinions on the Sherman trade talks such as "nothing will come of it."

I think he's been preparing for this for a while. They didn't mention his employment status on the air this morning.

I kinda like the guy.

Never seen together in the same location. Coincidence?

No way! Is that true? If so, that's so primitive

I can honestly say that never in my life did I ever knowingly want to eat a booger. Skiing down a mountain with a river of snot dripping into your mouth doesnt count.

Not just Clayton but with every layoff ESPN is choosing shock jocks over credible reporters all over the place, if you want to keep your job better think up a hot take quick.

Someone write a Trade Brady start Jimmy article at ESPN, save yoself.
