The regular season is already 25% over
Comparing Defensive stats from 2011 to 2012
2011 Season - end of week 4
435 Rushing Yards Allowed
1,475 Passing Yards Allowed
TOTAL 1,910 Yards allowed
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2012 Season - end of week 4
341 Rushing Yards Allowed
1,126 Passing yards Allowed
TOTAL 1,467 Yards Allowed
A total of a little over 430 yards LESS allowed by the defense and averaging out to a little over 100 less per game than last year
If these types of numbers hold up,the team on defense will have given up nearly 1,600 Yards less than last year .....that would put them about mid pack on defense (anywhere from 16th to 24th IMO).....an improvement no doubt, despite the fact that the secondary is still struggling.
