Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I'm going to be stepping away (for a while or longer, I don't know). It's been great having this thread, and this sub-forum, where we've been able to have real discussions, and most of you have been great about it. Keep the place going, because Lord knows it's been needed around here.

    Neutral-site championship game = permanent?

Of course they did. And why the hell would you revisit this when today's game resolved the issue anyway?
  3. Deus Irae

    Neutral-site championship game = permanent?

The Bills beat the Chiefs during the regular season, and they ended up with the same number of losses as the Chiefs. I know many people like to ignore that reality, and to pretend that it didn't happen, but it did. The Bills got hosed out of a chance to have the #1 seed, which means they got...

    Neutral-site championship game = permanent?

The notion that they've been rewarded is simply not correct.

    Neutral-site championship game = permanent?

It's not Buffalo's fault that the NFL doesn't have a week between the season and the playoffs as a buffer for this sort of situation, so why talk about justice equaling a Bills loss?

Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Let me just say, again, that my only reason for adding the question about Bowles is that the QB coach is gone. I've not heard, or seen, anything else that would in any way indicate that Bowles is not 100% in favor of a Brady return. Other than the QB coach issue, everything I've hear that...

    Neutral-site championship game = permanent?

They keep making the game worse in the name of making more money, and that's going to bite them in the ass sooner than they think.

Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I think there's going to be a number of teams interested. And I think Tampa is one of them. I'm just not sure how about Bowles, personally, and that's based on the QB coach not coming back. I've not heard anything else to make me question it.

Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

It's a very long video, but well worth watching at least a good chunk at the beginning. Anyone who's in the Tottie camp should at least watch the first 23 minutes or so.

Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Coaching is only part of the issue in Tampa Bay, and I'm sure Brady knows that. If he's legitimately thinking about a return to the Bucs, he's going to want to know Licht's plans for dealing with the cap, free agency, and the like. And, then, there's the question of whether or not Bowles wants...

OT: Coaching firings around the league

Chargers' Staley will return; team fires OC Lombardi To be clear: I'm not defending Lombardi. I'm just saying that Staley's been a problem since he was hired, and firing the O.C. is a scapegoat move.

Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

First it was Brady in decline, and now it's Brady failing as the O.C., and being to blame for the run game sucking because he had input on some plays? You continue to embarrass yourself. Take some time off. It'll do you good.

OT: Coaching firings around the league

Sure, but look at what happened with Leftwich under Bowles. Last year, Leftwich was being talked about as a head coach candidate. This year, he's looking for work. And, just there in San Diego, the guy who's side of the ball put up 30 points in the playoffs got fired, and not the guy who's...

OT: Coaching firings around the league

If O'Brien ends up in Tampa, that'd be one hell of a clue about Brady's 2023 plan.
