Willy Dissly, Anyone?

Dissly wouldn't be a bad signing, but he an example of the quality of decent veteran players that will be available right up to the final cut day. All depends on just when you want your final top 60 players on the roster.

Wait to see who shakes loose after preseason, see if you even need another TE.

We're going to have too many WR's, maybe some other positions... there may be a trade after camp.

Yes, I'm sure you have watched him in depth.

James White says he's a good player and a really good kid who busts his ass. But he doesn't have nearly as much experience watching him as you have had. And nowhere near your in depth knowledge of football.

Arkin is the wild card he could end up a beast and the pats gave him some solid cheddar, top 4 of the udfas I think. We'll see what the rook can do soon enough

Just a reminder: the "bet" with a large UDFA salary guarantee is that he'll be on somebody's roster, not that he'll be on your roster.

Patriots get to make that decision so its all to the good

The LA Rams have 4 NFL TE’s. Will they keep all of them? Looks like Parkinson might the guy to go or Higbee cut. The other two are 2nd rounders from the past two drafts. They’re not going anywhere.

Westover could be the 2nd/3rd TE but I’d rather have a receiving TE at this point, especially if Rairdon is not ready to play right away.

I thought he was describing how Arkin made him feel.....

The Rams played the most 13 personnel in the league within the last few years. They just may keep all 4 TEs…we’ll see..

I don't get this line of thinking. The dude's gonna be a near-minimum vet signing with little if any signing bonus; i.e.: No salary cap implications whatsoever... So why wait to sign him or anyone else to a similar contract? Bring him here some time after mandatory mini-camp when all the TEs already here have been seen... At worst, he can provide insurance in case of any further injury to the ranks; he can set a bar over which Dippre & Arkin need to reach by the end of TC; and he & Double-H can show those two & Raridon what it means to be a Pro here...

Ok, I pretty much posted "wait for cut-downs," then took a look at the role he's played in the past, and I'm just wrong. He'd definitely in the role we need, a blocking TE who occasionally catches a pass. Would love to have him around if just as a seasonal rental.

Great insight: the Rams loaded up on TE's I would take either Higbee or Parkinson as our Third TE: who can start in a pinch. Seems like the Rams went overkill at the position. I would to take Davis Allen off their hands he looks like our Eli Raridon.

Yes, they did. It looks like they have 8 TE's on the roster. Keep an eye on them as a trade partner if Raridon looks like he'll need more time to develop after training camp and Dippre and Westover don't look all that great. Keep an eye on them anyways.

Will do.

Always liked him from the Bears: now they have that Stud in C Loveland and *Sam Roush* who I wanted last Draft.
