Just want to see the hilarious "Suck it, Buffalo" thread title back at the top!

The strength of schedule was universally affected by lack of stellar QB play and lot of teams underperformed due to injuries - chiefs, ravens , Bengals , 49ers , chargers and some went down a notch down like eagles and some got derailed on QB and coaching front like dolphins .

That's applicable for all the franchises . Yes it's been easy for pats no denying that , but it's not been like horrendously difficult for anyone else on afc.

Nfc West is the only tough division. All other divisions were being poor second cousins .
If the Chiefs took our schedule this past year, it wouldn’t even be talked about. What would be talked about if Kermit coming back to the playoffs etc. Honestly I’m finding the lack of the media talking about us going from the bottom of the barrel to the SB quite offensive yet not surprising.

Well, this is what you get for taking 2 buffalo receivers

The Pats are going to be blown out in the Super Bowl and will either not make the playoffs next year, or squeak in at 9-8/10-7.
10–13 point loss, but it will feel worse (late garbage TD brings it closer).

Sorry about the loss guys.

Game went almost exactly as I predicted, but still tough to watch.

The 2025 Patriots were just not a great team. They were a lucky team, carried to the Super Bowl by one of the easiest schedules in the history of the NFL and playing the likes of CJ Stroud and Jarret Stidham in the playoffs.

What comes next won’t be pretty either. The 1st place schedule that the Patriots “earned” this season is going to hurt them next season. I don’t see the Patriots making the playoffs next year. Just not enough talent on the roster to play a 1st place schedule. Things may change with injuries to other teams and what not, but as this time I predict an 8-9 record for the 2026 Patriots.

Some questions about Maye too. I think he is talented, but that was one of the most troublesome postseasons I have ever seen a QB play. Bad game after bad game. At this point it seems to me that he has a high floor, but a limited ceiling.

Will be an interesting offseason.

Cool story bro. Would you like a Pats jersey?

Can we ban that dipshit already?

Thanks. It's hours after a SB loss, so predicting next season's record before Free Agency and the draft is a bit premature. The Pats beat the Bills in Orchard Park last year, and I expect they will again this year, along with taking the division. Maye will be a year older (good), and so will Allen (bad), and I expect the Pats with more money, more draft picks, and a better personnel staff/GM to distance themselves from the Bills. Just my prediction.

Talking to a loser douchenozzle.

Won't matter. This SB was their Swan song.
In not joking. I'm not trolling. Any of you older guys should be able to read the writing on the wall. The NFL ritual is - every decade has one or teams that reach/win 2 or 3 super bowls and then it's someone else's turn. Even the Pats in all their success only did it that way. A gap between each 3. They, like the Browns , had a 20 year run of Greatness. Brady is gone. It's over. I won't be wrong band I know I won't be wrong. The NFL will move on to someone else or cycle back to another team. The Patriots were beaten by a journeyman back up QB and a young coach. They started by losing to the Packers and finish by losing to Seattle. Watch football if you like it. But dont waste time getting emotionally involved anymore. It's not worth your adult brain space. It's over

You sound a bit delusional and banking on the assumption that every Pats fan thought this was Dynasty 3.0. No one thinks that...
NE has great ownership, great management (outside the Mayo thing...), a great head coach and staff, and a franchise QB. They're a young team with a lot of room to grow, a lot of draft picks, and a lot of financial capital. Dynasty 2.0 remains "over", as if that's news.. but the team you see now has as much potential as anyone else in the AFC outside of KC (taking a year off).
I get it, the Pats have made you hurt on a personal level and you're here to troll, but I recommend you work that out somehow. The Pats will be n the playoff mix next year, take your own advice and don't get emotionally invested in it.

The product is garbage nowadays anyway, its become unrecognizable. People shouldn't be investing their lives into this current NFL. How can they remove things such as the traditional kickoff and come to the conclusion that they made the game better? Now drives start from the 35 yard line smh the game is now catered towards offense, they ruined the balance of the game.

I mean look at the gameplan the Pats defense executed against the Rams at SB36, to say those Rams receivers were having a tough day is putting it lightly lol. There is no way that a defense could now do that in todays NFL, no way. Players like Rodney Harrison would be banned from playing in this NFL lol.

This is not the NFL I l fell in love with.

I don’t think it has to do with the NFL wanting new teams in the SB - I think the Patriots just don’t have a talented enough roster to get back for at least a couple years (barring a situation where they have the easiest schedule in the NFL and get to play multiple backup quality QB’s in the playoffs again). This is the same Pats roster that went 3-14 last season … just with a couple extra players. They didn’t suddenly get better. They got lucky. And will revert back next year.

When you step back and look at how they made it this year, it truly was an incredible set of circumstances. Stroud playing the worst football of his life over the past month, Stidham in the AFCCG, one of the easiest schedules in NFL history, etc.

You’re going to have to do something at the WR position this offseason (Bills too). Diggs is washed, and a no-show in the playoffs like every year. Hollins is probably your best WR, which is not ideal.

Also the offensive line was exposed badly. Campbell is a bust at LT. Put him at Guard, or at least RT.

And then there‘a Maye. Who just had the worst postseasons for a QB in NFL history. How is his confidence now? I’m sure everyone will say he’ll be fine. But he was bad for 3 straight playoff games. He has now played ~30 games in the NFL which is about when QB’s have enough tape to be figured out (if they’re going to be).
