As far as the Orlovsky bit - my point was in response to Ken asking why people are upset about it. It's pretty valid for people being mad at his reasoning, because it's totally illogical. It invalidates the whole reason for voting. It is what it is.

Dont hold your breath. Its all an excuse for the media to push whatever storyline they want.

In 2021 Brady threw for 5300 Yards and 43 TD but they gave it to Rodgers who threw for 4100 yards ajd 37 TDs because of his efficiency.

They will only ever give the award to Maye if he leads both raw stats and efficiency stats like Brady had to.

If you're going to argue who's the most valuable player then the argument is clearly Maye.

Switch these QBs and one of these QBs is still in the Superbowl.

Hint: it ain't Stafford.

The main impressive thing was he played as long as he did. Kinda wild to play through 9 consecutive seasons of 100+ tackles lmao the guy's bones must be ossified husks at this point.

But, like Mayo, nothing was ever that fantastic. Just a lot of tackles.

Well it matters if Breer is lying. Which unless the votes are released I suspect he is.

Ya I saw what he did.

As if he couldn't take a Google doc if he really wanted to. I just find it suspect he called whoever is in charge to verify if the votes are being made public before he made his reveal.

As I noted before, either two voters had Maye 3rd or one had him 5th. There are no other possibilities.

How does the math change in the scenario where one of the two voters puts him at 2?

Or if the 5th voter had him at 2?

Maye needed to gain 5 points. Those voters couldn't have changed anything by putting Maye second (either way, he'd gain 4 points). He needed at least one more first-place vote.
