Fair points regarding the analytics. I am guessing in 10 more years this trend continues, and there will be fewer "old heads" who just look and say "wow big TD number" and vote for that.

As far as the Orlovsky bit - my point was in response to Ken asking why people are upset about it. It's pretty valid for people being mad at his reasoning, because it's totally illogical. It invalidates the whole reason for voting. It is what it is.

In 2021 Brady threw for 5300 Yards and 43 TD but they gave it to Rodgers who threw for 4100 yards ajd 37 TDs because of his efficiency.

Maye needed to gain 5 points. Those voters couldn't have changed anything by putting Maye second (either way, he'd gain 4 points). He needed at least one more first-place vote.
