Maye & Rham combine for 125+ rush yards..
Stevenson’s efficiency has quietly surged and Maye scrambled on a league-high 10.3% of dropbacks in the regular season. 423 scramble yards, 27 first downs. If this game goes how I think, both guys are cooking on the ground.

I dont think Payton knows anything about being conservative and think the complete opposite, he has nothing to lose.
You could be right. However he doesn't have drew Brees at QB this time to ride... I Actually believe the opposite it's us who has nothing to lose and everything to gain.. we were 4-13 last season Denver was a post season team and a number 1 seed this season... they have expectations we were thought of as a multi year rebuild..

Show your Stiddies to our defense..

On throws 20+ yards downfield, Diggs & Boutte catch the ball about 2 out of every 3 times they’re targeted.

That’s insane efficiency on the hardest throws in football. Boutte’s gone 7-for-11 deep for 204 yards and 4 TDs. Maye completed 61% of his deep shots this year.

Denver lets teams complete 1 out of every 5 deep throws. Something’s gotta give.

The question is will Maye have the time to make those throws?

This. If he gives up 3 quick dangerous pressures in the first quarter you either have to help him, or try Lowe. Feelings be damned this is the AFCCG.
Agreed. They don't have time to wait or hope he improves as the game goes on. Getting behind and letting them time the snap count in that environment cannot be an option.

OT, but the best benching by Bill might have been SB 49. I wish there was a graphic to see Chris Matthews stats before and after Arrington was taken out. It felt like he was making plays all over the field. Then, was never heard from again after Bill put Butler on Kearse and moved Browner to cover him (Matthews).

No ****..

Here is my question: how much do they pay these players to get this info? I can't imagine they voluntarily share information knowing they will get released.

Except the part where Rams beat Panthers in single elimination playoffs. Kind of made the regular season a tad meaningless.

Darnold will fail. Didnt I hear he threw 6 ints in both games? I'll check
I believe he lead the league in ints with 14. I think he had...24 TOs if I remember correctly. He gives the ball away.
Can he play a clean game, sure, but there's always that old Darnold that could show up any time.
Stafford has not looked great in his 2 playoff games. He ended up getting better as the games went on, but it took awhile for him to get going in both, and Chi and Car don't have all world Ds.
I don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but we can beat both NFC teams.
I'm not buying the NFC Champ walking all over the AFC Champ.

I wish it was a 1 oclock game

It gives them the chance to showcase their skillset all week to another team.

These are fringe NFL players who were among the elite in college and want to have NFL career. If you truly believed in yourself you would take the opportunity knowing it was your knowledge of your former team that opened the door.

At least thats how I would view it if in that position. Doesn't matter how the door was opened its up to the person to take advantage of the opportunity.

The players are otherwise unemployed. It’s an easy paycheck and an outside shot of being part of a playoff run. They know they’re being used for intel and may only see the field if injuries or illness plague the team that week. It’s better than nothing.

I always figure we can discuss something WITHOUT Novels.
Some think otherwise. Obviously.

Accept that your preferences aren't universal and scroll past?

Discussion boards are as much about long form discussion as any social media medium.

Or **** off to twitter.

Who in the 90s nostalgia **** thought we should bring Billy Ray Cyrus ass haircuts?

Mom jeans, sure, I get it, they're clearly superior to low rise jeans.

Neo hockey haircuts and the brocolli haircuts have created a follicle crisis in America today.

My analsysis: Nobody with that haircut can win an AFC Championship Game.

Have to blitz Stidham and hit him early, the last thing you want is him getting into a rhythm and starting to feel comfortable.

You want him jittery and sped up from as early as possible, we seen what happened with Herbert and Stroud.
