I love, love, love RBs who are equal threats to run and catch. Cult of horizontality?

Oh but we'd want them to go vertical for some sort of gain, don't we?

Is that correct?

Didnt NE wear White at home vs the Bills? I dont remember.

These 2025 Pats really are a TEAM. There is no I in team, but there is a Me and all these guys are for one another just like in 2001. Never thought that I would see that kind of a Pats team again, but this is another version.

Is this Mayes coldest game?

Seems like the team that runs the best will win.

2005 Steelers gave them a nice beatdown. Ravens were the last team to beat them in 2012.
The Ravens game was in cold conditions just like this Sunday too.

Not that worried about Landry being out, he has faded badly (not really his fault, that knee is killing him) and Jennings has basically taken his job and is solid there. Ponder has been good too. That said, I'd like to have more presence there - it really would be great to have Swinson do something at some point, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Perhaps Farmer can be activated and get some reps inside, letting Barmore play outside a little.
They've moved Williams outside some too with Durden and Barmore inside. I saw that a few times vs the Texans.

Yeah, both guys have flexed outside and it has paid dividends. Durden has come on, and Taylor has started to also. Farmer and Tonga might be able to give some snaps as well, though IIRC Tonga is usually replacing a DT and not pushing one outside

It’s 5000 feet, not 15000
5280 feet.

I just realized why Denver put that on their helmets. To remind the other team of the altitude.

The Broncos are 22nd in rush EPA without Dobbins. Stidham, Sutton, Bryant, Mims & Engram vs. Gonzalez, Davis, Jones & Woodson and the game is trending towards -3.5. I’m surprised.

The problem is the location and the elevation issues. I can’t remember if there was any team that beat Denver at Mile High that went on to then Super Bowl

The colts in 2014 won at mile high. They did not go to the sb but they did win there so its still relevant here. Before that was Baltimore in 2012 (overtime game so the fatigue factor didn’t hurt them) and Steelers in 2005 that i can remember

Not the most eloquent guy ( “ yo”, “bro,” etc ) (caveat it is like a kick8ng w the boys interview), but he tells it like it is/was. “tell me about the kicker?” Final exam-orals LOL.

Buffy wore all whites in Buffyland. [IIRC]

if Maye plays patiently, we will blow them out. If he wants to take kill shots early, and it leads to turnovers, can become a war of attrition game and nail bitter. Just move the chains Drake.

Interesting point brought up here that Campbell’s injury leaves him more susceptible to bull rushers like Anderson and mack, but bonito is more of a finesse rusher so it may be a better matchup for will. We shall see, but hopefully we have some help lined up if he struggles again

Not going to lie, that upsets me a little because this is these people lives. I know that is part of the game but it never sits right with me
He was hired to snitch and he happily blabbered to the media about what a good snitch he was.

You don't want a guy like that in your building a day longer than necessary.

Thanks, really really good. I learned more about (got more respect for) Cowher as a result as well as fantastic stuff from Vrabes.
Most surprising….

Re: Rham….. “ Those are mistakes….those are fixable…..A lot of those were situations where we didn’t protect the guy with the ball.”…..

I had never thought about RBs and protecting the ball-carrier the way we do about protecting the passer!

Would be interesting if some film nut has time (like if we have a SB 2week break) to see what kind of plays & players he was talking about [that were at fault or partial fault for the fumbles.]. Cool interview.

I was surprised to see this available in its entirety on YouTube, I'm guessing it's set to air Sunday pregame. Cowher was somewhat underrated as a coach, IMO. He won a Super Bowl, had a .619 overall winning percentage and is in the Hall of Fame. He coached only 15 years and then retired -- he wasn't fired.

It seems that Vrabel learned a lot from him, especially regarding how to handle players on a personal level. Mike comes across as genuinely humble during this interview.

A tiny bit of trivia: I went out once with a woman who dated Cowher when he was a player in Cleveland.
