Milton Williams aint scared.Seems like half the posts in this thread contain the words “scared”, “scary”, “worry”, “afraid”. Hope the coaching staff is more focused on what we are going to do to Denver rather than obsess about all the negative things that can happen. We need to be the big dog in this game.
I just hope he starts wearing a visor….so the dirty bastahds can’t poke him.His name will be called upon a lot Sunday.
I've been confident the Pats would likely get to the Super Bowl once I saw the path in the playoffs.But IF we do win, I am quite sure we'll loose in the SB to either Rams or Hawks. And that will stink.
Because the AFC was not very good this year, and either of those NFC teams seem like a cut above... they are not the historic chokers like Chargers & Texans.
I honestly didn’t think we would see Drake fumble against the Texans after he fumbled against the Chargers… But we all know what happened there… I’m very worried that he has a pattern going when he does rollouts and takes off running and doesn’t protect the ball well… Hopefully they get him on track this weekThese are great points and show who Denver is as the #1 ranked team in the AFC. Our o-line is still the weakest chain in our link, but Josh did a decent job chipping and protecting with the right calls. But he can't fix ball security. Players do that. I don't see Drake fumbling in Denver like he did vs TX. I don't care what Andy says, it was partially related to weather. Drake is also not a cold weather QB yet. This is his first playoff run and he needs to grow in that area.
I think its a great defensive matchup, but I cannot see Denver putting up a lot of points. If we knock the crap our of Stid like we did Stroud, he will cough up the ball just as much. If Drake just manages the game well, limits turnovers, and does what Drake does, we win. Its the stupid stuff like fumbles and ints that could lose this game. Also, New England knows Stidham. Vrabel said they scouted him in the offseason for a potential roster spot. We obviously have plenty of film on him. His career TD vs Int ratio is 1:1. 8TDs and 8 Ints. I think he is still that guy.
I’m definitely not going to sleep on Stidham because they’re going to give him a very very simple low risk game plan, especially in the passing game where I expect him to do very short passes, slants, and screens. Stid is not horrible just hasn’t played much….. He’s competent enough to get the job done managing the game and not making mistakes with the above game plan and running the ball. I’m more concerned about our offensive line being able to hold up and protect Drake and give him time, and open running lanes against their defense. And of course, making sure that we don’t turn over the ball…Up early this morning so bouncing between sportscenter, NFL network, and local news to see what this winter storm is going to do. I’m already sick of the Sean Payton and Jared “Stiddy” ball washing. Give me a break.
Networks trying real hard to pump up Stidham.
Nix= game manager, overrated
Stidham= has not thrown an NFL game pass in 2 YEARS. Game speed is not practice speed
Payton= overrated, always has been
Broncos= overrated
Patriots blow the doors off these place Sunday.
Also, hopefully we have power down here so I can watch the game, lol.
