These stats are through last nights game. Only Brady and Cousins are top 5 in 6 of the below 7 categories. Cousins is having a solid year if not for his teams record. Stafford and Rodgers come in next with top 5 on 4 of the categories. Prescott is top 5 on 3 categories and #6 on Rating. Murray missing 3 games hurts his chances, even with top Comp% and Rating. Mahomes numbers are not impressive and lol at the mention of Lamar, Burrow, Carr, Herbert, etc. with ratings below 100.NFL MVP Race Has Never Been More Wide Open as Brady, Murray Make Their Cases

We on this thread must be living in a bizarro universe. How could we not see that the MVP race is far from concluded.
You can obviously pick other categories but I think Brady is top in DVOA as well. To me, Brady is the clear leader with only Stafford with a chance to catch him. Brady has the easier schedule, if he can average about 2 TDs per game against Bills and Saints, he's got this. He'll blow up in the last 3 games (Car x2 + Jete).
One thing that stood out was Brady's Sacks/Att%, which is over a point below Stafford's, the closest one. The average is a whopping 6.3% more than double Brady's rate. Although Brady is #11 in Int/Att at 2.0%, that's actually below the average (2.2%).
