NY Giant Fan Reaction to "The Cast"

Patriots will almost certainly win this game, but how does everyone so quickly forget that first Pats superbowl that they had "no reason to be in".

Don't get caught in the same attitude that you yourselves once faced.
If you are referring to SB 36, just who was the QB for that one?;)

The best thing about this idiot beating his chest about his team being a "Nine Time Playoff Qualifier" is the fact that he has to go back to 1943 to hit that mark...

The Patriots on the other hand are poised to do that in this decade alone.

2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 - and hopefully 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Around here, Mr. GiantsNoWorldChampionshipsInTheSalaryCapEra, just making the playoffs isn't really something we boast too much about.

But overall, nice way to troll another team's board and embarrass all your fellow fans. :)

This guy has to go down as THE biggest moron with the THE MOST Pathetic Sig of all time.

No reason to be in? You must be referring to the famous tuck rule play….”rule” being the keyword. If you’re such a football fan you should remember more than that 1 play. The Patriots still had to kick a 45 yard field goal in a blizzard to tie the game. Then, the Raiders still had a chance to win the game but could not convert on 3rd and inches call from the Patriot 36. And after the key Patriot stop…the Patriots drove down the field and won the game. It’s in the books.

The Patriots then went to Pittsburgh and punched the Steelers in the mouth in the AFC Championship game.

The next game they upset the team that was called the greatest show on turf.

So….I’m certain they belonged in that Super Bowl. The word “rule” confirms this.

I think FootballFan may have been referring to the fact that no one gave the Pats a snowball's chance in Hell of even competing in that game against The Greatest Show on Turf.

Whats funny about the Giants fans signature is the 1927 "World Championship"

While we're paying tribute to those teams. I would like to take the time to acknowledge my home team.

Providence Steam Roller!

1928 WORLD CHAMPIONS!

Since the New England Patriots play in the same area, can we say the Pats won a World Championship in 1928, too?

Hey, nothing would surprise me at this point. PsyOps are certainly not out of the question.

Hey - by the way, love your signature line...

Did you rush out and buy those "Playoff Qualifier" T-Shirts in 2006? Pretty Damn impressive stuff if you don't mind me saying so...

Hey guys... watch out... we're playing the Nine Time "Playoff Qualifiers"!

My exact reaction! :D

when we croak you 38-14, and hoist #4 in 7 season. Before the end of the game all you NY turds will be wanting Coughlin and Elis head.

Speaking of arrogance it was your goober QB who refused to play for SD. lol. Arrogant my ass

19-0 coming, and you're the last victims once more. We closed you out in regular season on your own turf, and now we again close you out in Playoffs

We're not turds... name calling is rude. I was just being arrogant because you guys are. Is that ok?

didnt we already beat you guys this year? In fact i think you were ahead in that game, and we STILL one, cuz we're that dam good. How you expect to to beat the patriots in warm weather? I know you;re gonna come back and say that you're gonna win, and we suck and all that bla bla blaness, but just think about it for a second, ok just think. I'll tell you what i told the returning chargers fans on here, the giants have NO CHANCE!

You don't play on the team. "WE"

You don't play on the team. "WE"

Nor do you, so why are you bragging about championships? I don't see a problem with using that pronoun to talk about your favorite football team, even if I tend to avoid it. It doesn't imply anything, it's just easier than typing out "the Patriots" every time.

The Giants and Cowboys have made the playoffs more than any team in NFL history. That bottom line is the Wild Card line.

Not really, why would it be? I'm personally not arrogant about the Pats because I don't play on the team. I think a healthy dose of pride in our hometown team is not undeserved given what they've accomplished so far.

By the way.. playoff qualifier? Seriously?

To stay on topic.. I'm just glad no one's calling it "Castgate" or "Footgate" yet, -Gate is played out. Probably only a matter of time though.

Im a Giants fan and I will never go on the Giants.com message board. You shouldn't either. For real fans and knowledgeable fans please direct your attention to BBI

Why is the signature pathetic? Because the Giants are a historic franchise?

6 WORLD TITLES IN ANY ERA IS IMPRESSIVE!!! The Packers are proud of their 12.... why can't the Giants be. The Giants don't hang banners in the stadium... the Pats do. What does that say.

No one's arguing that, the Giants are definitely a storied franchise. In general, I find Giants fans infinitely more knowledgeable and tolerable than Jets fans (although that might just be a matter of familiarity). I think people just got a chuckle out of the "playoff qualifier" category (I know I did).

You should have one for "Record Sufficient to Make the Playoffs, but missed out on tiebreakers". Personally, if I had a sig celebrating the Pats success, it would include the years they won the Super Bowl, because any other year is a disappointment. (If you're a Yankees fan, and I don't know if you are, then you know what I mean already)

Rams were coached by Mike Martz....and he stuck to his gameplan w/o making any adjustments.

Lets see.....SB matchup......do you take BB or do you lay your money in Mike Martz ?

Patriots are the best in making adjustments, and that's why opposing D Coordinators call them the chameleon....if anyone of Giant fans did not see that vs Chargers, then they have no clue about the Pats.

Chargers D said Pats have "7 different Offenses" they can throw at you. How do you prepare to defend all - you cant

Titles from when there were 6 teams in the league isn't anything impressive, pal.

It says that the Pats don't have to take theirs down when another team plays home games in the stadium. Loudly.

Nope, because you're on a Pats fan board.

You've played this game before, antagonizing Pats fans and then saying "it was all in fun!" so I'll just laugh at your siggy now, ahead of schedule.
