I'm trying to contemplate how losing a coach who had a .760 regular season winning percentage, 6 playoffs appearances in 6 years and a Super Bowl Championship with your team makes you better.

The Manning era before him was a .500 team with not a single post-season victory.

But yeah, sure. They will only get better now...

He's been the Indy QB coach for a few years, and was with Duny in Tampa as a QB coach too.

I guess if Manning likes him, then that's a good recommendation right there. But he's never even been an offensive coordinator as far as I can tell, so I'm wondering if Indy is seriously gonna go with him.

I hear that every season. And they just cannot beat us.

But, you know what? I hear on this forum Dungy is not a good coach but now we are done.

I am going to miss him a lot and I thank him for what he has done. But, I also want a coach who has his heart in football all the time and I think Dungy has other things he wants to do.


Oh and they are siting PFT again.

Yeah, I had always respected Dungy as much as any rival coach, but this year, and maybe it's because he put himself in a position where he had to respond to questions about all the non-football stuff, like religion and homosexuality, in interviews with people like Bob Costas, I lost a lot of respect for him.

Didn't the AFC central go away years ago. And the Colts were never in the AFC Central nor was Jax.

It'll be a long time before the Colts forget losing the way they did. If they are like stallions, they will beef up their team in the off-season and come back and go undefeated. If they are geldings, they will crash and burn next year.

We won't know until next year.
