At least we can be rid of this fourth alternate business.

Makes sense. A game like this just doesn't make sense for such a contact sport. Especially one that's harder to just roll the balls out there and play than in other sports without an actual playbook. It's just such a **** product and not really any way to salvage it besides players devoting actual effort and injury risk to it which isn't really a fair ask.

The Pro Bowl was ****ed the day they moved it from Hawaii, and even more ****ed when they moved it to before the Super Bowl, and even MORE ****ed when they didn't keep up with salary inflation when it came to the winners/losers share.

Of course no one wants to go to the loser's bracket game in (insert random city here) for essentially peanuts. Or try when they're there.

I won't miss it, haven't watched it in years.
That being said, flag football is growing incredibly fast.
Could've made made it a flag game. Would've been more competitive and perhaps drawn more/new fans.
But again, won't miss it.
