You're on the right track, PF2. Whomever winds up as the #3 RB will have a lot more factors to show Than what their YPC were.

How are their pass blocking and blitz pick up skills]

How many ST slots can they play.

How well can they catch the ball and run routes

Just on the last factor mentioned, Larison would have the edge.

They are 2 backs that seem to have 2 very different skill sets and BOTH of those skill sets could be needed on game day. I'm of the opinion that we really need 4 RB's, but that is hard to do when you have a designated FB on your roster who us likely to be on the field a 3rd of the snaps. In an ideal world one is picked and the other lands on the PS

Saw a Reiss 53 man projection where he had only 2 RBs on the roster.

I think that is how we will roll....2 RB's (Stevenson and Henderson) + Gilman.

And RB3 is not currently on the roster.

I think we might have some roster maneuvering to do (e.g. Landry, Barringer, Schooler, and etc...) where we will keep a guy on the 53 for a few weeks until they are ready to roll vs. IRR which means 4 weeks minimum.

He is a wide receiver whose production per playing time is extremely low. It has been his entire career. Last year was his 5th team in 5 years.
I don’t hate the man, I just think we could do much better with the available WR snaps than giving them to him.
