Watching that video, I see another Boutte laying it on the line for the ball and winning contested throws. Exceptional hands and concentration. The Pats must have studied Doubs game and were sold on his skillset.

All I remember is him botching the onsides kick in the playoffs vs the bears to lose the game.

Did you just insinuate that another receiver on this team might be as good or better than Boutte? That's almost as ludicrous as thinking that acquiring AJB is some kind of improvement.

Have not seen his name mentioned lately.

I believe that FB will play a more prominent role in this 2026 offense.

Pretty certain that theyll be a trade barring unforeseen circumstances.

Dorner was injured and missed a week of practice. Everyone seems to have their binkies. I think that Dorner will be one of our two or three WR's on the PS (presuming 5 on the 53-man roster).

There seem to be fans of Chism, Dorner, DeGenaro, and Dixon.

Dorner played in the preseason game. He had one catch for 18 yards, on two targets. Not sure if it was counted as the other target or washed out by the penalty but IIRC he had another catch for a big gain that was wiped out by an illegal player downfield. He was definitely looking as good as what we’ve heard from practices IMO.

ETA: checked ESPN play by play to test my memory. As I thought the two passes I described were on consecutive plays. They came right back to him after the penalty:
