That's an Elite NFL move; he could beat even Gonzo on that. That Twitch at the Top of the Route was very Edelman-esque.

It's easy, and only takes a few moments. So with Woodson last year, and maybe Prunty and Morton this year, our talent acquisition team is showing they got game.Prunty was our First Day 3 pick after we Traded our Fourth Rounder last draft. I liked others but: if he's a diamond in the rough I won't complain.
I will remind you the Patriots are valued at $9 billion. You were just claiming that it would be no problem at all to maintain a grass field year-round at Gillette despite past efforts and failures, that it would have been done in a snap…except Kraft is cheap.
Now it would be “mind-numbingly easy” to negotiate the biggest CB contract in NFL history, even while another client of the player’s agent is trying unsuccessfully to negotiate the exact same thing in Seattle..except Kraft is cheap.
Props for consistency, I guess.

Chism seems like he's developing and Pop is having a Great camp. A Couple fo these WR's could make it on ST's value alone. So 7 WR's?
Realistically they can't cut Brown/Doubs/Kyle Williams. They're not cutting Hollins, despite some board protest, so that leaves Douglas, who has been running with the ones, Chism, and Boutte.
Back to square one or is Chism still an easy cut.

Chism! and this is why Hollins - Boutte and Pop are all FA's in 27. That's three WR's gone...it looks like Chism has turned the corner kudos to our WR Coach. It's nice to have WR's who can play the Slot. It's a question of who do you want to develop, a guy like Crownover or Chism.
As for position overload, a last roster spot player like Crownover would be maybe 5th tackle, while the team is busy still developing three other yoiung ones Campbell, Bryant, and Lomu. There's only Kyle Williams at WR. so in that sense it even balances the roster development wise. Of course we don't know who the last roster spot player would be.
Also I think each WR is needed now for the team. Douglas might be the best in the slot, Hollins is valuable in so many ways, and Boutte might be the best of the three. As the season progresses it will become apparent what they need to do and the value of everyone will be higher, unless they weren't good to begin with.
Speaking of Crownover... Swing Tackle Marcus Bryant is running with the Ones and two's. I felt he was a late Round Steal last year. I think we can stash Crownover on IR we don't need him this year. It's a question of who do you want to develop, a guy like Crownover or Chism.

PF2 advocating for roster spot for a WR over an OL, I’m surprisedSpeaking of Crownover... Swing Tackle Marcus Bryant is running with the Ones and two's. I felt he was a late Round Steal last year. I think we can stash Crownover on IR we don't need him this year.

I jest.

You are optimistic about Landry than me: I smell IR all the way with him. I can't wait for us to move on in 27; his knees are shot!As another example:
On the edge let's say Landry is on PUP, which looks like a good bet. I might only keep Jones, Jacas, Ponder and cut the rest including Swinson, whose name shows up once in a while. I'm glad as a 5th rounded that he decided to take football seriously, but for me so far the group are development practice squad callups, who no one is considerably better than the other
None have seemed to step forward like Ponder did early in camp. It's early, but still. We'll see more Thursday,
He could come up with mysterious head Injury... anything is possible in the Age of the guardian helmet. They don't do that.
If he's hurt for a period shorter than the season, and they feel he will fall behind and never be any help this year, they will IR him, but they have never just stashed.
Jury is still out on some of them, but Bryant and Crownover and Ponder and Swinson are on their watch too. And Jacas. So with Woodson last year, and maybe Prunty and Morton this year, our talent acquisition team is showing they got game.
