No updates from any of the reporters/fans who were posting on X after he limped off with the ankle injury.

Here's a thought - can Pop be what we thought KW needed to be? Besides the extra 2-3 inches in height, and maybe a fraction of a second in speed? He sounds like he's dominating scrimmage.

Pop has been outstanding in TC. Also very encouraging work by Williams and Doubs has really stepped up. Chism has been solid. Nick G. and Dorner have flashed. Hopefully we can keep both on the PS.
Of course, AJ and Boutte have both been great as expected. Hollins is always solid doing his thing.
This is looking to be a very good and very deep group

I wouldn't say KW has been dominating any portion of any practice so far. He's been repping with the 3's sometimes. I know that they play different roles, but Pop has been doing more than the classic slot routes.

He has been standing out playing against the 2’s and 3’s. He can only capitalize on the opportunities he’s given.

Outside the hashes WR is the deepest position on the team. That’s why he’s running with the 2nd team.

Do we need to worry about Campbell. He's had that arm brace, now he's missing practice?
Also, if Henry has a bum ankle already, we might have to seriously consider Jonnu Smith.
I've said for months that TE is paper thin. Henry is old and due for another injury. Raridon could be good, but not ready to be TE1 all year as a rookie. Arkin & Dippre are not the answer.

We're hearing a lot more about Khalil Jacobs than we are KJ Britt. I'm not sure if Jacobs is a backup MIKE though.

I think he is right behind Muma at Mike and Obi right behind Elliss at Will.

Good depth assuming health and it continues to play out this way.

I listed Jacobs/Holmes as one of the important backup LB roster battles. Not sure who it will be.

It's obvious why Maye and Wilson were packaged together in the scrimmage draft but Chism being paired with Hollins as the only other two players to be matched up is interesting. I wonder what's going on there. Special packages maybe? I know they're big buddies but that doesn't seem like enough reason to make them the only exceptions.

I really think that the reason was the vibes.

Nah, this time of year tweaks and strains get a lot of time and care. Until we hear some bad news from the team too much shouldn’t be made of it.

The vets, known starters have to be healthy for the regular season, that’s more important than getting them preseason reps. Also there are guys further down the depth chart who need crucial snaps and development. This is a good opportunity for Bryant, Lomu and Crownover.
