Making **** up. No I think it is great to get players signed early, and I think it is usually best for the players too. However, just like you, I have no idea what actually went on here. Hard to argue with the doom and gloomers here on this one. It's impossible to see how the team didn't recognize Jacas being nicked up when all you need to do is take one look at him and see that he's been living in mommy's basement playing Grand Theft Auto and eating ice cream. By the 5 gallon tub. And for Guys like Sam and Pape who are jacked from lifting and sprinting hours and hours a day, and don't get paid a nickel for it, it's offensive to see a slob like Jacas get the big bucks when any gym rat could see he's a puffball. Vrabel and Co. need to go, we need to get guys like Sam and State in there, who knew intuitively that Drake Maye would be a bust, and who wouldn't miss by taking a lazy pud like Jacas.
