You were talking about guaranteeing a spot on the practice squad.
The fact that Shaw got zero should tell you he sucks and isn’t someone who quits to go find a better opportunity. He was lucky any team wanted him around.

My God I love when you make blanket statements like they are true facts across the board because your experience says that's the way it is for every man. Granted I was a late bloomer and didn't go thru puberty until I was 17 and a half but I was 6'3 for the longest time until when I was 26 a random work annual measurement had me at 6'4. Been that height ever since so yes some people do keep growing later in life and don't fully mature until their mid twenties. There is a reason the prime years in an NFL contract is considered when they are 25-29, they are still growing into their "man body".
