The final Countdown - 2026 training camp

Your facts are not correct
I provided a link to Draftscout. You provided PFR as a source and they’re not accurate.

They measure these players at the combine and pro days, twice he measured 6’1.”

He’s 6’1.”

I thought he was 5'11"?

go to a team that he feels he has a better chance to stick with?
He has almost no chance to stick with any other team and this is the place he chose to sign. 90th players on the depth chart don’t quit before camp starts to hope they can be someone else’s 90th.

no, but development players often get a guarantee that translates into a full season on the PS, giving them time to develop, train, practice....get better.
Shaw has physical attributes that not many players have. that won't get him much farther than he has so far.
but given some time, coaching and further training, he could.
his Pats contract did not stipulate that. perhaps there is a team out there that will.

or maybe they realize he sucks

You said 6’2,” so did Zuma… we were all wrong.

Shaw is still a crap athlete in relation to Vince.
your measurement was when he was drafted
in each subsequent listed measurement, he could have grown.
regardless, we know he is not 5'11"

btw, he can't dunk

Vince entered the league at 23, men typically stop growing at 18 but in rare cases as late as 21. Just stop… he didn’t grow an entire
inch once he joined the Pats.

And yes, Wilfork can dunk. A pickup game against his kids on youtube doesn’t prove otherwise.

I get that being wrong is your biggest fear, but in this case take your L and walk.

he aint 5"11"

there must be a video of him dunking, if he can

I don’t suffer from your fear of being wrong, or your weird denial and evasion when it happens.

This is the dumbest conversation since you decided to speak about your bellybutton lint.

Shaw is a crap athlete, Vince was a great one… despite your philosophy that athleticism doesn’t matter.

FB - Reggie Gilliam

I noticed that Buffalo hardly used him in their offense other than blocking. He was a big Special Teams guy for the Bills. I am wondering if McDaniels will involve Gilliam in the NE offense rushing and receiving. As a 3rd down and short specialist and goaline battering ram. In 2025, NEP Ernie Johnson had more rush attempts (13) than Gilliam has had in 6 seasons. The Pats are paying Gilliam a fair chunk of money too Reggie Gilliam Contract Details, Salary Cap Charges, Bonus Money, and Contract History | Over The Cap
He’s a pretty decent receiver too, not super productive, but had good hands, so maybe he can be a sneaky offensive player. If he’s in the backfield, he might only block, but may also catch the ball. Ran a 4.58 at his pro day, pretty good speed for his size.

One side note, the Bills run game was top 10 every year Gilliam was the fullback. So a sneaky good signing.

did you find the video of him dunking?

It seems like NE is paying a lot of money for a player just to block and play Special Teams.

As I noted earlier, in 2025 Ernie Johnson had more rush attempts than Gilliam has had in 6 seasons.

Hooper, Westover and Tonga had over 760 offensive snaps last season

He was 23 during his rookie season.

Regardless people stop growing long before either age. So you were wrong.

He’s 6’2”
Your facts are not correct
I've always known him just above 6'1". He was measured 6' feet 1 1/4 inches. Miami Pro Day had him at this as well.

After looking around Google, I came across a quote from Michael Holley's "War Room" book that said the Pats were expecting the Bears to take Wilfork at 14. Even though the Pats just traded a 2nd round pick for Corey Dillon, they were were set to take Steven Jackson at 21. Once Wilfork fell to the Pats, they took him. I wanted Jackson badly at 21 and hoped he dropped to 32 or the Pats traded up for him. I hated the Ben Watson pick.

No they don’t get a guarantee. You made that up.

He sucks. He wasn’t good enough to be the 90th player and he will be lucky to get a call.

Why would he have signed here if before taking the field he wants to quit and try to see if anyone else will sign him?
