Heres a decent pic of it from inside and lucas oil is an indiana company. It is racing and synthetic oil they say if you have a transmission slipping put lucas tranny fluid in it and it will quit.

That stadium looks like one big toilet. Are they going to put in extra speakers for pumped in crowd noise?:)

No sorry we don't, we're not a second rate hayseed city like yours; FWIW, you spelled your location wrong, should be a U in place of the A clambrain (one whole chumpionship at that, what a tool) , AND, you also spelled ballhawk wrong, it's spelled b-a-l-l-b-a-g .........

Boy this thread sure turned fast.

back to the stadium. looks like a very nice venue. what strikes me is how wide it must be to allow for the low elevation of the field level seats. you're gonna feel like you're on the field 20 rows up.

I wish the Razor had a retractable roof.

Personally, I think it is a great idea. To me, if it is 45 degrees or over with sunshine, leave it open. Rain, snow, or below 45 and then close it.

I remember sitting in the old Foxboro stadium when with the wind chill it was something like -17 and being young and foolish I stayed for the whole game. We actually were playing Indy that day. I remember another day playing the Jets in September and it was like a monsoon rain. It was actually pretty fun.

But to me, I would like to see every football game without a weather factor. The Razor is beautiful, but in January it takes alot away from the game if it is snowing. Just me.

Oh, and I went to the SB in 1986 and it was FREEZING outside the dome. I think it was in the 20's and the wind was howling. And how about the Miami SB last year. To me, no SB should be played in anything but a dome.

And the 1986 SB Pats vs Chicago was in New Orleans.

By the way that stadium is just about the worst I have ever been in. The field is way off because a track goes around the field. And the seats are similar to what you would find in a high school stadium. I was really surprised.

But they served great Margueritas which I drank quite a few of -- it was a bad game to sit through as a Pats fan.

Looks cool......is it back in Baltimore where the Colts belong ?

So the Colts are gonna play at the Tranny Dome?

Seriously, that stadium is badass. Save for it's Sally-roof.

It's up to the team. There is a certain time deadline that once that point is reached it must stay the way it is, no opening or closing after that point. I would guess 5 or 6 games. It's just all going to depend on the day, the last two days it's been in the 60's in January, so you never know. For the most part I think it's going to be for the comfort of the fans and not for the players so much.

Uhm, he went to Tennessee.

Boy you sure do add to a football related conversation.

I'm in agreement.

Thus the " "

They say when you have to explain the joke, you aren't very funny.
Folks act as if PM is inept outdoors.

I was trying to find more information on the dome last week and their website isn't very good. It does have interesting design, almost like a college field house. A Colts friend of mine was home a few weeks ago and said it dominates that downtown sky line.

Wasn't "Lucas Tranny Fluid at the Tranny Dome" nominated for an AVN award last year?
