It's easy, and only takes a few moments.AJ, Doubs, Boutte, Hollins, Williams, Chism, PS and UDFAs and other fringe players is just as good, maybe better.AJ Brown, Doubs, Williams, Douglas, Hollins, Chism, multiple talented UDFA’s trying out for a roster spot.
That’s a really good group of WR’s.
Presuming that Boutte doesn't have an attitude issue, the question is who would you rather have on the team if Doubs or Brown miss a couple of games. Boutte or Douglas?AJ, Doubs, Boutte, Hollins, Williams, Chism, PS and UDFAs and other fringe players is just as good, maybe better.
I think Pop is on a thinner bubble than Boutte.
Me... me... me Bouttte.Presuming that Boutte doesn't have an attitude issue, the question is who would you rather have on the team if Doubs or Brown miss a couple of games. Boutte or Douglas?
Torrid? He was on pace for 48 catches for 900 yards. We agree there: that said I think we're discounting Boutte's torrid start up until the Atlanta game last year when he got injured. A healthy Boutte would have eclipsed any season of Romeo Doubs thus far: which is not a high bar. Also he would have been close to Alec Pierce statistically who resigned with the Colts.
Would that suck roc??Torrid? He was on pace for 48 catches for 900 yards.
Assuming that none of the WRs has an attitude issue, I’d rather have Boutte than Douglas regardless of Doubs and Brown health and availability. I think he brings a little more value to the overall mix. It’s not a huge difference because after all we are talking about probably the fourth or fifth or sixth layers on the depth chart for either one.Presuming that Boutte doesn't have an attitude issue, the question is who would you rather have on the team if Doubs or Brown miss a couple of games. There is little reason for the team to make Boutte available for trade until at least mid-August.
On the other hand, Boutte could be part of trade compensation if the pats are negotiation for a player.
If Boutte is arguably our #3 WR, there is no reason to let him go. At his salary, he is very valuable. And, unless Williams seems great, we could consider extending Boutte to compete with Williams.Right - if there were an opportunity to trade him for an edge rusher or TE then you want them in camp sooner than later.
Aside from that, at his salary, I want to keep him until we get down to cut downs in case the injury bug hits
Some still consider him the 3rd best receiver on the team
And he got injured. Again.Torrid? He was on pace for 48 catches for 900 yards.

Brown is clearly WR1, and Doubs is WR2. Who is WR3?
Boutte?
Douglas?
Hollins?
Williams?
I think it’s going to turn out to be Hollins, followed by Williams, with Boutte and Douglas fighting over the last spot in the pecking order.
