Thanks Mayo, the prospect review says Jacas has 33" arms so he could also play LT in a pinch.

It'll be down to his agent. There's nothing about Jacas' character and work ethic that suggests it's on him.Annoyed Jacas not at OTAs. Why?
Treveyon didn't sign until June 18th.His agent works for him.
Lomu is on the field.
Bad prognostic sign, IMO. He should he out there. Everyone else who 8s new is.
It's not ideal, I just don't think it's on Jacas. Everything said about him is that he loves football and training so there's something else going on.I know. But (1) he had a slow start, and (2) there was a big dispute over guaranteed money last year, affecting most early 2nd round picks.
No such dispute this year, almost everyone on either side of Jacas signed. And almost every pick on either side of Jacas has signed.
Lomu has not signed, but he is a full participant.
I'm high on Jacas, but it is not in his best interest tp miss OTAs.

Gabe Jacas. Because that's who we picked and I'm ready to support him.As of today, who would you rather have?
1. Gabe Jacas at 55
2. Keyron Crawford/Dani Dennis-Sutton at 63, Kyle Louis at 131, and VJ Payne/Jordan Van den Berg/Micah Morris at 202
I really hope Jacas turns out to be a stud, because that's a fair amount of quality and depth to pass up.
Jacas is better than Crawford and DDS. Once we decided not to go EDGE in the first, the trade up in the 2nd was pretty predictable.I want Jacas to succeed spectacularly. But we gave up a lot.
yup.Agreed.
Two differences, for me:
1. We gave up 3 picks for Jacas (63, 131, 202) vs. 2 for Lomu. With the depth in the 2026 draft, we could have gotten 3 good players.
2. There were no good OT options after Lomu. There were other good EDGE options after Jacas.
Obviously, the Pats rated Jacas very highly. But as of today he us unsigned, rumored to be still injured, and a non-participant in activities to date, putting him behind the curve.
He hasn't played a snap. Why are people on this board so quick to write draftees off before they've even been on the field?yup.
As of today, Jacas isn't worth a 2026 63, 131 and 202. Who would you ahve picked in those spots so that we can compare in a couple of years?
Nothing better to do with their thoughts this time of year.He hasn't played a snap. Why are people on this board so quick to write draftees off before they've even been on the field?
Might be in their 80s and not connecting their thoughts like the old days.He hasn't played a snap. Why are people on this board so quick to write draftees off before they've even been on the field?
