OT: Sidy Sow Looking for a new home

Maybe big fat guys especially. Some guys just want to get drafted and that's enough.

Sow reminds me of DT Vincent Valentine, both looked very promising their rookie season. They came back fat and lacksidasical the next offseason and never recovered. The year one to year two jump really is an important one.
Ron Brace comes to mind. RIP but he was awful and shouldn’t have been

Valentine had that knee injury (an excuse Sow doesn't have); at the time I thought the Patriots gave up on him way too soon. I was thinking that maybe he had a setback in rehabbing from the injury, infection from the surgery, whatever. I felt he played really well as a rookie and after that first season was confident he would be a good player for a long time. Was completely wrong on that one.

But yeah, it's as if he got his signing bonus and two years of salary and he just figured that he was all set. Never played another down after the Patriots waived him. Truly disappointing career given that start, and for a third round pick.

Career Earnings: $1,839,361

it's really not a Sidy Sow cult. it's the Bill ball washers.
back then, if Bill did it, it must be genius, because what ever Bill did, regardless of the behind the back snickers (Snead/McVey), it is genius. the cult completely turned a blind eye to the fact, that for the majority of post Brady seasons, what ever Bill touched, turned to sh*t
Jeeze... His last draft included Christian Gonzalez, Pop Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, and Brice Berringer who are all still on the team.

I never liked that pick anyway. If Bill really, really had to have a DT there, then he should've picked one among Hassan Ridgeway, Andrew Billings & David Onyemata, aka the Actual best Defensive Tackles remaining...

Wolf drafted those players
collaboration
Collaboration made all the picks and free agent signings from 2021-2023.

Wolf doesn't get credit for all the good players and Bill gets credited with the poor ones... don't be a hypocrite.

Wolf assembled the 2024 team.... and that team build was a dumpster fire of rookies and outside free agents.

Has nothing to do with a cult or being pro or anti BB. Sow had a very promising rookie year. Had 13 starts as a 4th rounder. RAS was terrific and led all rookie lineman in run blocking grade. So what do you do when the sophomore slump happens? Do you give up on the player and disregard his accomplishments the previous year or do you assess the player and hope for a rebound?

Instead you get called a BB ball washer or a Sidy Sow cultist lol. This board never gets old. Nostradamus fans amaze me on how quick you know when to cut ties with a player. Hindsight at it’s finest. True GM’s, you should all have jobs in the NFL. So much smarter than anyone on this board,

He wasn’t great in college, he sucked here, he sucked in Houston. But yeah sure let’s bring him back.
I liked Sidy when he was here
the summer he was drafted, I went to 3 or 4 open practices, and was impressed. I liked his size and footwork.
simply never worked out here

But isn't that why we're all here, for the bickering? Be kinda dull otherwise...
Argument is an intellectual process.
Contradiction is just the automatic gain saying of any statement the other person makes.

We have Wallace, so much better a backup OG.
Did that scrub see any live action last year?? I must have missed it.

Did anybody else always say his name according to the South Park pronunciation?
