We have Wilson, if we signed Linderbaum (forget the money for a moment) that would probably put Wilson at backup spot because he needs to be upgraded at LG, so in the end there's the money and the investment made in that draft pick, signing another center would mess this a little bit with that dynamics. Wilson was the top Center coming out of the draft last year, we have to trust we will be better there and sign a good LG. That's better for the team than signing Linderbaum even though he is a proven top Center.

It was a ridiculous signing, Nevada doesn’t even have state tax. Raiders are idiots inflating the market for everyone else.

Westover wasn't really a fullback, he just played there because Lampe got hurt and it was too late to find a better replacement. Westover is really a TE, he will go back to playing TE and compete for a spot as the third guy there and/or on special teams.

Not yet. Westover was an ERFA. It costs nothing to release him if he doesn’t win a spot.

Underwhelming but predictable 1st day. Westover was a UDFA I think or some other scrap heap JAG. He gone.

It will have a disastrous ripple effect across every position group on the OL this year and for years to come... A lot of unhappy tackles in the future

All of that is just words now they need to put it into practice, it's impossible to get younger, cheaper and better unless you start drafting really well.

There's so many premium positions now in the NFL it's impossible to get cost control play unless they're drafted.

Pressure is on to nail this draft.

Nahh.. It's not that bad. Edwards was mediocre for the Bills. He's middle of the road in terms of both his pass blocking and run-blocking. It will be interesting to see how the Bill replace him. Possibly a draft pick.
