Football, like hockey, is a man's game, and people need to realize that most of these prospects are still kids when they get drafted. I'm not talking about chronological age, I'm talking about the physical difference between men and boys. And players like Maye and Campbell are boys playing a man's game, and as such need time to both develop as players, and to develop from boys to men. I think we will see Naye and all of these rookies develop from boys to men over the next year, and we will see the difference in them both physically and mentally in making that transition to pro players. Vrabel has made it clear that he sees developing these kids into good pro players as a major part of his job, and he's giving them the teaching, time, and support to develop into quality pro players.
