OT: Official Titans vs. Chargers Game Thread

Gates has a classy case of turf toe.

Poor arrogant Sanvara....she must be taking the scissors to her wrists as we speak...in fact, did ANY Charger fan see this coming??..because WE sure did.

They come here and call us all sorts of idiotic things but when all is said and done, we're usually right and they are usually MIA's.

i would put Favre close by but hes too crazy to predict at times. Romo is inconsistent but he could easily be up there with some consistency. Palmer..same. Inconsistent..turns it over.

Going to have to respectfully disagree there. After Brady and Manning, everyone else is a major step down, including Favre, Romo, and especially Palmer.

Back on topic, it's real great to see LaClasslian classing his way to a 6-yard first half. I wonder who he's going to blame for that.

What a great two minute drill the Titans have going, What do you think a another run up the middle..

Yep... I'm calling it - Titans win 3-0 ... ha ha... wouldn't that be great if the second half was scoreless ?

No we have to watch his crap.

First of all, that hit was completely legit, Gates was getting up to try and make a move. Crappy throw by Rivers put him in that position. However, if that was the Pats, does anyone here doubt for a second that this would be called the biggest cheap shot since, well,..., since Vince Wilfork apparently chased Brandon Jacobs around the field trying to end his career by poking out his eye.

On a serious note though, I like Gates, hope he's okay.

One more thing, Rivers really doesn't have a very good arm. He can't get the ball downfield without putting way too much air under it.

I’m surprised the playing of Fergie over the loud speakers didn’t inspire Gates to get up and play through his injury…

At this point, I'm not liking the next round of matchups either way. I don't want the Pats playing the Titans, because they'll manage to injure some of our key guys, since they know that they suck too much to play legitimate football. I still maintain that they effectively doomed our season last year when Harrison went down.

I also don't want the Colts to get a shot at the Gates-less Chargers, who they'll demolish with ease.

i didnt mean that close. Brady + Manning are about 3 levels above everyone else.

Its
Brady/Manning

then

Favre/Romo

then

Palmer/Roethlisberger

big seperation between all of them

This 3-yard rush just ook about 30 seconds off the clock? I guess they're not even going to try to close out the half with some more points on the board.

I think they were playing the song "Clumsy." Nice choice by the stadium people when you can hear a pin drop and Gates is lying hurt on the field...

Fair enough, I'd more or less agree with that, although imo Brees probably belongs in tier 3 as well. Like Palmer and Roethlisberger, he's as good or as bad as the team around him.

I remember hearing Avril Lavigne during that Sunday Night game with the Colts this year.

Guessing LT makes the music selections himself, classy.
