Id much rather sign Hendrickson than trade for Crosby. If we do the former we keep our pick. We only need to pay a little more for superior production for the next few years and we are on the hook for a shorter contract in all likelihood even if we need to eat 8m in the final year to cut him.

Not sure what the salary cap looks like in future years, but we are going to be spending some big money on Drake & Gonzo. Adding Crosby would be another big salary against the cap. The first dynasty was built when veteran players would take team friendly contracts in hopes of winning a super bowl. Also didn't hurt that we had the GOAT qb.

Yes. And we have an outside chance at replicating that exact scenario because we have Vrabes and Maye.

Crosby is a beast and would instantly make us a nightmare for any teams with his pass rush. Problem is that this team has bigger needs this offseason. We have to invest in the o-line and go out and get Drake a solid TE like Kyle Pitts.

The current TE core we have is old and they aren’t game changers. The team just needs to go all in while Maye is still young and still on his rookie contract.

I 100% believe Russini on this, but highly doubt the Raiders would trade Crosby to the Pats. Brady will probably never send anyone of Crosby's caliber to NE to avoid cries of aiding his former team. If, in a hypothetical scenario, the Pats were offering the best return for Crosby then LV would be dumb not to take it, but... I just don't see it.

I seriously doubt Brady would block a trade like that. Brady wants to win a ring as a part owner. If the Pats offer the best deal which will put the Raiders in the best position to reach that goal, I don't think he would block a trade out of spite. Besides, Kraft and Brady seem to have buried the hatchet.
