But 9 out of 14 HCs bounced? That's just shocking to me.. Unless these owners were that delusion to believe that it would take a a decade for the Pats to recover... I'm surprised that they recovered this quickly, but, I knew they had talent on the team. Especially on defense.I mentioned it a month ago. I do think their is something to it...
first Buf game hc not fired9 of the 14 Head Coaches that faced the Patriots this year are no longer employed by their team.
Additionally, the OCs for the Buccaneers, Jets and Chargers have been fired and the Jets fired their DC.
Consequence of Pats playing such a weak schedule? But 9 out of 14 HCs bounced? That's just shocking to me.. Yes but 2 of those were playoff teams and another was the Ravens. If we didn't implode against the Steelers, you could add them too.Consequence of Pats playing such a weak schedule?
Many of the teams the Pats played were on their schedule because those teams were not good last year. So coaches already on thin ice.
Made worse by Vrabel’s success in his first year, and the Pats generally looking far better than their opponents during the regular season.
Agreed. Also believe that Joe Brady is going to be in over his head... being a HC apart from an OC is totally different realm. With the utter dysfunction in that Bills organization. As I have said after the 2022 Judge and Patricia show and then Mayo.. I have an all new appreciation for coaching.I mentioned it a month ago. I do think their is something to it...
The fact that Vrabel has turned the Pats around so dramatically in one season (Seahawks new coachturnaround also is impressive) may lead owners to believe that they have to dump bad coaches quickly and keep trying to find “the guy”.
Agreed. Also the Seattle roster as a whole was far more established with talent at important positions in comparison from the roster Vrabel took over this season. The Seahawks are in their 2nd year under McDonald and he took over a team that was 9-8 in 2023. He stepped them to 10-7 and now 14-3. He's done a good job, but I don't think it's near as impressive as Vrabel's accomplishment.
Thanks, Capt. Obvious. Newsflash for you. They still beat 3 of the top defenses in the league. in Houston, San Diego and Denver. They also beat Cleveland when Cleveland had the top rated defense..But it also means the Pats didn't play some great competition
They deserve it according to the pundits. But 9 out of 14 HCs bounced? That's just shocking to me..
