There are two sides to every coin. Many think Stroud lost the game for the Texans. I think the Patriots defense won it. Stroud was under pressure all game and got no help from his running game. That is the formula to beat every quarterback. If our oline struggles to protect Maye and we can't run the ball, we probably will lose this game. If we lose, we'll lose because the Denver defense gets in a frenzy and feeds off the crowd just like our defense did against Houston. Home field advantage is a significant factor and there might not be a better home field advantage in the league than the one the Broncos enjoy in Denver.

Some of you will blame Maye which is unfortunate. The OLine of this team is still the weak link. Its much improved from where it was a year ago but more improvement is still needed. I believe we need to add another OT with one of our first two picks. Moses is 34 years old and Campbell might be better suited at OG. I'm not sure we wouldn't be better off right now with Lowe at LT and Campbell at LG.

My post above was only trying to point out that this game is not going to be a cakewalk. It seems like many Pats fans are planning their SB trips just because of the Nix injury. I don't believe there is a tremendous drop off between Nix and Stidham. There are likely aspects of Stidham's game that may be better and Sean Payton is a great offensive mind capable of taking advantage of those. This is going to be a battle. We need to strike first and take the crowd out of the game. If its a close game and the crowd is in it until the end, we will be coming home with the L.

I have no problem with most of that, but its absolutely silly to claim the drop off from Nix to Stid isn't tremendous. Oh yes it is. That does not mean we automatically win the game. Denver is still the best team in the AFC. But its like us claiming Dobbs is not that much of a drop off from Drake. Stop it.

Weather causes a pass rusher to hit his arm as it was ****ed to throw?

This comment cannot be serio....oh wait just saw the author, nevermind.

That sure didn't age well. The Texans D is was very good and honestly probably best D since Legion of Boom. The TDs that Maye threw were all against Man but very tight coverage. The one to Pop the defender was able to get his hand on it. The ball to Diggs was a remarkable catch due to his super strong hands, he had a defender all over him. The TD to Booty was pretty tight coverage as well, took an amazing throw and better catch.

I was very impressed with the Texans defense

That Drake Maye Hail Mary, er Hail Mayey? was a thing of beauty. 60 yards in the air with a flick of the wrist, great height on it. I think it landed 2 inches left of where he aimed though so needs to work on that.

Accuracy Ha. He gets an inch leeway,

Didn't account for the 1.2 mph right to left wind

He wasn’t #3.
Ohhhhh REALLY. Let’s look at snaps.

Diggs is our acknowledged #1 ( still recovering to start year, so snap counts don’t mean so much)

Looking at rest of snap counts; so long BOTH WERE HEALTHY, ( thru week 8, & Boutte hamstring injury) please point out to me where / when Mack had more snaps than our #2 Boutte?……..

I dint think they are top 5. They don’t run the ball extremely well and Nix spends most of his time running for his life.
It was a slightly above average offense (aided by a good defense and a lot of off platform plays made by the QB. I’d call it very average.

Voters for the league's All-Pro (NOT pro-bowl) teams disagree with you. Strongly.

Jake?

I misread your post and you're referring to the 2005 matchups. Bill put up a good fight in the divisional round, but eventually cracked because the offense was so bad that day. Had the offense played better, Denver would've lost.

Pats should've been ahead like 20-0 before Jake the Fake, Champ Bailey & the rest of the Donkeys even knew what ****ing hit them. So many ****ing opportunities squandered earlier in that game, which directly led to the criminally incompetent zebras inculcating themselves into the outcome for the rest of it; and it wasn't just the Ben Watson play either...

What's even more infuriating about that loss was that had we not even started shooting ourselves in the foot then giving the gun to the zebras to finish us off, ****tsdirt would've had to travel to Foxborough for the AFCCG; and we all know what happens to them when they face us in the POs...

My only problem is whether it is also regardless of denomination?

Something I saw in a discussion a couple of weeks ago attributed those gatherings to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Are they nondenominational? Would Jews or Muslims be welcome to join and if they did would the worship be inclusive or would they have to endure exaltations of ************?

I’m concerned because I see religious fervor as being divisive as much or more than it’s uniting. too often it turns into “our god is better than your god” conflicts. And on an individual level there’s no need for this kind of person attack against a fellow Pats fan for example:

Mudslimes? You gotta be ****ing ****ting me.
