Only if it's the Pats. If it's they Texans it's because they have the greatest defense in NFL history from what I have been told ad nauseum this weekSo the AFC Team that's beats them now as an *asterisk* on their SB birth??

Preseason?? Really dudeIf you've seen him in preseason at all, you can tell he's still getting better.
Ankle isn't the issue really it's possible ligament damage that is the issue. He should be fine by start of training camp.Just wondering, since it’s the playoffs and this injury happened…is he going to recover by season start? I’m not familiar with broken ankles and how serious they are compared to ACL.

Depends on exactly what happened. I know from someone it happened to (not me) that the biggest issue is they can't put weight on that foot for ~2 months or so after the surgery. But if it's not too bad, he should be ready either for TC or not long after (e.g., early October).Just wondering, since it’s the playoffs and this injury happened…is he going to recover by season start? Pats may get to face LAC without any no tackles, Houston with no Collins, Denver with no Nix.
Even if they make the super bowl the narrative that they didn't play anyone this year and don't really deserve it will persist unless they win it all vs a healthy Seahawks team. Even making it will be considered not much of an accomplishment.
Edit: Not my opinion btw... speaking of the narrative others will build. Though the path is relatively easy as superbowl paths go, even a strong Pats support must admit as much.
Our injury report for that game:I don’t see any asterisks next to the 2015 Denver Champions who beat a Patriots team in the AFCCG who had lost just about all their RBs and had to bring in the Ghost of Steven Jackson.
.
Leave dad out of thisIan, this has been discussed enough, and it has no real relevance unless or until we win tomorrow. THEN it becomes a valid topic again an we can talk about it ad nauseum
This is a relevant topic for the rest of the postseason, regardless of what the Patriots do.Ian, this has been discussed enough, and it has no real relevance unless or until we win tomorrow. THEN it becomes a valid topic again an we can talk about it ad nauseum

Said this in the game thread, we play a clean game and we win. We give Houston a gift or two and we open the door. I wouldn't mind a super conservative offensive game.I deadass am thinking that of the Pats don’t turn the ball over tomorrow, Houston can’t win.
That all depends.Said this in the game thread, we play a clean game and we win. We give Houston a gift or two and we open the door. I wouldn't mind a super conservative offensive game.
