As much as Pickens is a ticking time bomb, why trade him just to trade and pay another WR when you are signing a 41 year old QB? The Steelers supporting cast is very pedestrian. Just take the 3rd round pick when he leaves in FA. They are now stuck with Metcalf when Rodgers retires after this game.

This defense is tough. I’m very worried about Campbell and Wilson against the Texans. Seems like another game where we need the defense to shut it down.

Two Borregales field goals will be enough to win next Sunday. Nico Collins won’t be playing and Stroud looks lost on 8 days rest. He’ll have 6 days to get ready for a D that (according to what Spillane relayed from several Chargers players after the game) completely flummoxed Justin Herbert with disguises. Stroud will be crying uncontrollably by the third quarter.

Rodger’s had chances to hit a couple deep balls and he had chances to run what failed at both

Texans offense will be lucky to score 3.
So, Pats 13-3.
You just hope Pats O is not too beat up from the game.
But be real, Houston has no chance of beating Pats.
They're a one-trick pony.
Even if their one trick is pretty damn good

I wouldn't use this game as an indictment on their offense. They are having a down game right now, not unlike the one we had for most of last night. Both offenses could have a bounce back next week.

Agreed. I hope the Pats run a lot next week and then go play-action off the run. Don’t ask Maye to do too much and hopefully win a 10-6 game or something.

People are acting like Maye has been getting strip sacked every game. Maye has been very good with his pocket awareness and getting rid of the ball when he has to. Yesterday was the aberration.

Every game this year Rodgers has looked like playing football is a terrible burden he has to bear, made worse by the fact that it involves teammates.

He acts like everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault and he lets them know it.

Wilson got dominated last night. We’d be better off playing Ben Brown next to Campbell.
