… why wouldn’t they? It’s a better slot? It’s closer to their usual slot for a “prime time” game? It’s at the end of the day and not during lunch? There’s many reasons.

Most west coast games during the season happen in the 4:30 eastern time slot, so I don’t know why they wouldn’t try to fit this in similarly. There’s not as many 1:00 pm games with west coast teams. Obviously there were some but they weren’t as common.
A 3:00 start (12 pacific) is closer to their normal start time than 630 (330 pacific).
There home games start at 1:00 pacific. There games outside the west coast start at 10 am. None start later than 1;00

There home games are all at 1:00.
I mean that’s obviously just not true. I just checked the Rams schedule and they only played 4 games all year at 1:00.

Herbert has the loser gene, he doesn't look like he wants it enough.

You see a guy like Purdy with less talent go out there and sling it and be willing to throw a pick or two, Herbert looked like he was terrified to air the ball out he never gave his team a chance to win, he didn't throw the ball down the field.
There was a play at the end there with time ticking away where Herbert tried to run it when it was clear it wasn't going anywhere, and I thought, "What kind of subterranean low IQ move was that? Throw it away to stop the clock!!" It was the kind of brain dead stuff we'd see with Mac.

Unfortunately, this win is also invalidated since the Chargers were the 7th seed, had a terrible OL with 25-30 different combinations, had to travel across the country, their QB was banged up, they wore their powder blue uniforms & it was below 40 degrees which isn’t fair to a Cali team…we’ll have to prove that we’re legit again next week..

Herbert has been in the league for six years and he has less playoff victories than Drake Maye in his second year. Maybe it is time to stop comparing Maye to Herbert.
Herbert was panicking with the pressure and otherwise (when the receivers were all smothered). Drake needs a bit better pocket awareness sometimes, which showed up here, but he never panics. That’s huge in the playoffs especially.

Like someone mentioned in the gdt, that game had 2018 sb vibes. We dominated the rams but kept shooting ourselves in the foot and other flukey **** was keeping them in that one. Really shows how good the team played tonight when they lost the to battle/ got the short end on most bounces and still won by double digits

Need an update on Gonzalez

I said I was wondering if the Pats D could morph into something bigger come playoff time like has happened many times in other seasons.

I wonder if we just witnessed it happening.
I think that people pretty much are oblivious to the fact that every game is different. Matchups are more responsible for results than morphing

Wow even Nick Wright gave us our props. Didn’t have that on my bingo card

He needs a new team for the playoffs. After the Chiefs were eliminated, he went on a Jaguar and Trevor Lawrence kick. Now he is teamless again. Maybe he will jump on the Patriots bandwagon. Hope not. Probably won’t since Chris Broussard is the Pats fan on the show.

Getting on board before enduring another 15 years of being a clown
