Edge is the move. There are a number of guys that can be good... Probably no perennial probowlers in this draft, but a lot of really good options.

Good thing about this year is we don't have to force a position with our first. Let the draft come to us, take the best player available from OL, Edge, DT or LB.
Someone will slip, they always do, and that's where teams like Philly have excelled getting fallers.
Edge is our biggest need imo, but we don't need to force a pick.

Nix and Payton sure didn't step up last year in the playoffs. And Payton is 9-9 career wise for the playoffs with Drew Brees as the QB of 17 of those games. You take out the one Super Bowl season and Payton is 6-9.

9-9, 1 ring vs 7-7, barren cupboard... maybe they are closer than i thought... that one ring though... its a big chip to have

i believe the saints lost multiple shots at another ring because Brees chased every single dollar he could get... little more balance on that roster, maybe as a team they could have done better

Davis was a late signing and barely contributed all year, his absence won't mean anything, unless of course they have another WR go down early.

Davis had a few big plays this year. But I am just saying they have no one. They are down to three or four WRs on their roster all together. It will be tough to get a guy up to speed and in sync with Allen. Davis helped make up for the loss of Josh Palmer. But now they have no real depth at the position and Allen's primary receivers ain't great to begin with.

If I had to win a playoff game, there is zero doubt that I would take Payton over McDermott. In fact, I would take Payton while spotting the other team a TD over McDermott.

That said, I don't think Payton is all that clutch in the playoffs.

Bad clock management cost them. 49ers needed to spike the ball and stop the clock instead of wasting 10 seconds waiting for a guy running all the way across the formation with the clock still ticking.

So far I’ve watched 4 games this weekend and in every game, every coaching staff on both sides has been completely bewildered by game management

Davis had 12 catches for 129 yds in 6 games, I don't see his absence having any impact.
Bills have had the same crap WRs all year and found a way to win 12 games.
Between Cooks, the two TEs, Cooks, Shakir, Coleman and Shavers they will find a way to move the ball.
Hey, I've been wrong plenty before, but I see an easy win for Buffalo.

Yeah I’m still feeling pretty confident that he will be traded this offseason and Vrabel will be the guy who wants him.

Brown/Hollins + Williams/Boutte outside with Diggs/Chism in the slot will be a really good unit for Maye. Beef up the OL and DL and overall depth more in the draft and free agency and you are off to the races.

I know what you mean, but he wouldn’t even need to. Brown literally wants to be here. Those that “dislike” it won’t have that same notion when he’s got 90 receptions 1,200 yards & 12 TDs….guaranteed.

We really need to improve the second level of our defense. We could easily use 2 new LBs.

So, The Jaguars and Packers both choked.

The Rams squeaked by the Panthers, which is surprising. I expected them to roll the Panthers.

the 49ers Strength and Conditioning staff should be under a microscope after this season. Losing Kittle is a huge blow to that offense. We'll see if they can rebound in the 2nd half..
