How soon we forget about Jovan Belcher.
What does a guy who had severe depression and committed suicide have to do with the Chiefs propensity to have players who have issues with Domestic Violence?

This sounds like a toxic relationship. I assumed she did not call police for any of these. If she has time stamps to prove it, the this is different from Diggs but similar to Barmore.
In Diggs case, there is additional evidence that shows he is likely to innocent based on text exchanges between Cardi and the chef.
So yes, we have a player like Rashee on our team who may not be here next season if he does not get his act together. Way too many negatives experiences from Barmore in last 18 months.

But I know we won’t be seeing gear saying Free (whoever) being worn by Pats players. That’s a KC Chief thing it seems. I wonder what Kelce is thinking now.

The Pats weren’t aware of the extent of Hernandez problems so I don’t absolve or blame them for drafting him either way.

Urban Meyer knew how ****ed up Hernandez was, and he either lied to Belichick, who he was close with, or Belichick ignored him.

Are the Chef's more tolerant than most pro sports franchises, probably, but this **** goes on all across the sporting world, so acting like it's just other franchises is ********. Fans of every team in every sport have bad apples they are rooting for.

we all have thought about the violence that surrounds the nfl off the field, im sure.

Its not being hypocritical to call it out other teams when it occurs. doesnt mean no thought is given to the victims ...

its just that...

Schadenfreude is delicious at times.

Especially when its the Pretenders to the Throne, the ChiRefs...

Meyer misled BB by convincing BB that AH's problems were manageable, but BB is also responsible in that he let his own hubris get the better of him in his belief that anyone could be rehabilitated or kept in line by the Patriot Way. But as he found out the hard way, there are people you just can't fix or help.

I’ll be shocked if he isn’t cut at this point.

When you omit the tiny detail that Belcher murdered his girlfriend, you're right, it does seem strange to mention him in a thread about Chiefs players and violence towards women.

If there are photos like this backing up allegations about Diggs or any other Patriots player I'd want him gone too. I despise domestic abusers.

But like I said you won't find any Patriots player wearing "Free <whoever>" shirts supporting trash that hits and runs or does this to women. That's just a KC Cheat problem and nobody else's. That's the culture they have going on with that team.

POS just like Diggs and Barmore
Lets keep the same energy
Can't throw stones from a glass house. The Chiefs have had a long history of employing domestic abusers but when we have two guys on the roster currently accused of beating women we shouldn't be saying much.

Let’s see the actual evidence on Barmore and Diggs. So far nothing…

These photos are damning for Rice.

Is she going to press charges?
Not sure if this is sarcasm...if so haha

But if you are asking a serious question let me share some knowledge as I have seen a couple other posts regarding our players and about a "victim" wanting to or not wanting to press charges. When it comes to DV which is typically a misdemeanor most states do not allow law enforcement any discretion in how to handle the investigation regardless of the victims wishes. The law is very clear that if probable cause exists an arrest will be made. This nonsense of I just want to have a report made in the case of DV matters is too much CSI tv crap.

Documentation is also done at hospitals. And the medical information and where it’s released is at the discretion of the patient/victim

I didn't willfully omit it. I'd forgotten it. It is still a case of a man suffering severe depression and no, I don't believe it's the same as punk asses who beat their wife/girlfriend/kids.

Not in VA, if medical staff observes signs of a domestic assault/child abuse they are required to contact LE.

Let me add that yes medical information cant be obtained without a search warrant.

I thought it was reported that Barmore's ex-GF gave the police pictures and that they were included in the Court Filing against him..

Umm, no. Wish you were correct, but no. Children and elderly, yes. Domestic partner adult, no. If a gun was involved, in 2 states. Otherwise, 2 states have mandatory reporting of domestic violence, VA isn’t one.

I stand corrected on medical staff required to contact LEO on Domestic Partner assault, I have been out of the game a few years But I can tell you I have been called by the hospital ER to talk to women who look like they took a beating with a baseball bat and I am glad they made the call. And yeah medical information requires a search warrant unless the nurse who just took blood on a DUI accident lays her clipboard on a table and coughs loud looks at the table then back at you and walks away for a minute
